What's your surgery for? I know literally nothing about your ailment, but i'm of the mind nowadays that 30-40% of what goes wrong with our bodies is attributable to running too long on deficient Vitamin D levels. (Especially with the intestines!). Anyhow have you had your Vit D level tested? Do you see a Naturopathic Dr? (Maybe depending on what your ailment is, maybe you don't need surgery?)
Hey dude, if you're interested in healing your gut I could send you some excellent links on the keto diet, the carnivore diet and fasting.
There are clinical examples of people using fasting to send cancers into remission, reverse diabetes, cure insulin resistance, cure chronic bowel conditions such as crohn's disease, increase longevity and brain health by recycling junk proteins etc.
I've cut out almost all processed carbs, sugar, alcohol, vegetable/seed oils etc out of my diet last week monday and am already down 7lb.
I've also cut my cravings for sugar, carbs, alcohol etc through fasting.
One of the most important aspects of fasting for your situation is that it will allow your gut to heal and recover by not being constantly used.
Are you getting enough salt? Salt can help raise your blood pressure don't use table salt though, use pink Himalayan or Redmond's real salt.
You should look into bone broth fasting, the fat and collagen in real bone broth has incredible healing properties.
You might also want to try 48-72hr fasts to increase the amount of time your body is in autophagy which is the process your body uses to recycle damaged cells/ proteins.
Dr. Jason Fung is great if you want to learn more about fasting.
Honestly you should be able to get that done as someone else said, an outside surgery center since it's just a EGD/Colonoscopy, just diagnostics and no cutting other than possible internal biopsies. Call around and look for info on line to see if you could find a doctor who will scope you other than at a hospital that requires testing/vaccines.
Have you looked into or considered long term fasting / dry fasting? I on/off follow some fasting for weight loss / health and I’ve heard it can be very beneficial for immune system regeneration and reducing inflammation and curing a lot of common ailments.
Yes. Look up Dr. Berg on YouTube. Fantastic advice on all sort of things, including proper ways to fast and intermittent fast to heal gut flora and immune system.

Staff or c diff?
I would take colloidal silver, overhaul the diet, and treat parasites. Find a functional medicine doctor in private practice.
