Most definitely! Not surprised it’s in California ?
Yep, I’m Here ..what a disgrace.. but most Lucerferian I mean Lutheran churches are so full of demons this is no big deal to them
'God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. '
Genesis 1:27
'For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures. Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. Professing to be wise, they became fools, '
Romans 1:21-27
God's word has been so diluted, manipulated, misinterpreted, misrepresented, and down right lied about by the seminaries and "churches" for decades. When this is over, 95% need to be shuttered, the non-profit shit needs to be eliminated, the properties all liquidated and forced to start over from scratch. They can start in houses. No room for the rock band w/ smoke and mirrors.
In the original languages the Bible was written in that being Ancient Hebrew, Ancient Greek etc. words have multiple meanings that change depending on how it’s used. In a translation You could potentially change the meaning of the entire passage simply by how you define a couple words.
It wouldn’t be particularly far fetched to believe someone at some point released deliberate mistranslations to suit their own ends.
Especially given how most early Bibles and Biblical translations ultimately originated in Rome with what would become the modern Roman Catholic Church. An entity that even in its hey Day had a reputation for corruption and sticking its nose where it shouldn’t.
I’d say it’s probably almost likely it occurred. Probably repeatedly.
I think the sovereign God has control over whether or not His Word was manipulated or not... If it were manipulated, it wouldn't have been outside of what He allowed to happen.
Attacking the inerrancy of the Bible has been going on since God gave Moses the Law. I'm sure He is used to it by now as He saw it coming in advance before He breathed creation into existence.
Unless God has told you this directly there is no reason to believe it. God allows every evil under the sun to exist. Including manipulation of His Word. At the end of the day, the Bible is a book written by people. The Word of God is Jesus Christ. John is very clear about this. The Bible is not God nor incorruptible or inerrant. Only God is that. Remember the warning of the Second Commandment. Do not call anything made by the hands of men God. That doesn’t just mean statues of Zeus, that includes the trappings of religion
Only God is God.
'All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.' 2 Timothy 3:16-17
I believe the Holy Spirit, who dwells within me, would convict me as to if I am reading something, the Bible in this case, that is not divinely inspired. Outside of the Bible, there are no other writings that are divinely inspired.
'For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. ' Hebrews 4:12
We, as Christians, do not worship the Bible, we worship Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I belong to a church that can almost exalt doctrine over the Savior, and it's a sad battle that I have to fight within the body. However, if I cannot rely on the Holy Scriptures that God has provided, how am I led in the process of sanctification? How do I learn more about our Savior?
I am in full agreement that Jesus Christ is the Word of God.
If I am wrong, I apologize in advance, but it seems like you are saying the the Bible cannot be trusted.
Scripture literally translated means God breathed. We both know that means something the Almighty said directly. Not all of the Bible claims that. Most of it doesn’t. So yeah, if the Maker said something directly, that’s Scripture. Everything else is just an opinion.
People can not be trusted. Ever. That is all I am saying and we both agree.
But that voice in your heart. I agree that’s real. He is Risen.
Also, thank you. Thank you for fighting for Jesus over doctrine. It’s the most important fight. Also, I agree, God wouldn’t just leave us hanging. And where we can’t find more in the teaching of ministers and religion, God will reach out to us directly.
Saved my sorry ass even when it wasn’t expected or necessary.
He saved all of our sorry asses... When the time was right, He came and got us and brought us back to Him. I appreciate having a good, healthy dialogue with you, Brother/ Sister, and, since we have eternity in Heaven, getting to meet you someday. I pray the unbelieving eye can read this dialogue, know that we are His, then believe in only Son of God, Jesus Christ. May God bless you and the light He shines through you.
Expected or necessary for God...not me.
You don't need the bible to tell you that this is a perversion of nature and mind. It's obvious.
Indeed you don’t.
I was more so adding to the point of the person I replied to.
I know. I was just throwing that in there for good measure.
Yep. People who took the time to read the Bible using a lexicon know this. You’ll see three words turned into multiple paragraphs. Both Ancient Greek and Hebrew are massively simple languages. There is a lot of interpretation going on to extend it to English.
Some of the implications of some of the passages when read in the original languages are actually quite interesting with some of them seemingly conflicting to varying degrees with traditionally established Christian religious doctrine.
Granted I’ve only ever made it through Genesis using a lexicon. But still it was an enlightening experience. One I’d highly recommend.
Right? I’ve never made it through a whole book. Not even my two favorites, Ecclesiastes and Revelation. But it’s a great way to discipline one’s opinion.
The Lutheran Church really got infiltrated bad. The only sect left somewhat intact is Missouri Synod Lutheran. Very sad.
You can count the Missouri Synod out, especially in the Northeast.
In one of my seminary classes a few weeks ago, I learned that less than ten Bible colleges/ seminaries still hold to the literal six-day creation...
If someone wants to "twist" what the Word says about creation, imagine all of the room for other twisting that can lead to.
This needs to be diagrammed:
Lutheran Church = institution now controlled by the mentally ill
Elects = can I get an audit here? Just to prove statement 1.
Former Lesbian = woman who used to like women a whole lot
First Transgender = woman, not satisfied with liking women a whole lot, now claims she is a man, who, presumably likes women a whole lot.
Bishop - Does she have a bishop in her drawers? Does it rise up when worshiped?
I predict a few years down the road she will realize she was in fact a CIS-normative white female the whole time with mental issues.
Cool now we can elect a dog archbishop.
Don’t forget a fish and Cat. Gotta be Diverse
Absolutely disturbing .

All the more reason to believe Christ’s church transcends our fallible people and buildings.
Um ya no. Pretty sure Jesus doesn't approve.
Lady just looks like a dykie(sp?) lesbian anyway. Definitely not trying hard enough hahaha
How exactly do you 'live as a man' ??
