Don't forget Vitamin K which keeps the Vit D from calcifying.
Nice.. I eat spinach every day which has 390% of the daily recommended vitamin K. Always wondered what K was good for lol. I take vitamin D and recently bought zinc but was wary of taking it since it's 50mg and daily recommended is 40mg. I'm sure it's more than fine and I don't really eat red meat so I could probably use it.
I take 30mg per day. You could take half a tablet.
Consider taking magnesium supplement, too. Important for the immune system and it helps to prevent muscle cramps and migraine. Especially important for anyone who is diabetic or pre-diabetic.
I also take a trace amount of boron each day. Dissolve one teaspoon of boracic acid powder in a pint of water. Take a capful per day in coffee or whatever. It's 1.5 times less toxic than salt.
Separate the mag / zinc at different times if possible, they interfere slightly with the absorption of one another.
Fulvic acid is meant to help with absorption also.
Daily recommended amounts are paltry.
I break my zinc in 1/2
i simply take the 50 mg zinc every other day along with quercitin. I skp the vit c only because it increases absorption of iron and I have polycythemia (to many red blood cells) and the dr advised not to at this time, otherwise I would be taking large doses of vitamin C also.
It's Elemental Zinc (citrate).
I know, I just enjoy it less and less as I get older. I eat eggs every day which are the most complete protein available and actually contain higher quantities of some vitamins and minerals than any meat. Also eat beans every day. The main thing red meat has in spades that is hard to compensate for is Zinc which is why I bought the supplement.
Depends on where you get your beef from also. If you are getting gmo corn fed beef it is really a wash
Also it says to balance some copper with the zinc. Seems to be differing ideas on the ratios online.
