I get no grief at Walmart, or even at the local public school for the spring concert. I was literally the only one but even the principal did not question me. Hubby saw I was unquestioned and took his off (this was HUGE fight earlier - he didn't want me to "embarrass" anyone. I still refuse to obey) 2 other couples saw us in the bleachers and took them off.
Publix yesterday, Dade County Florida. I went in, did my shopping and checked out without a word to me about a mask. First time for me to go in maskless. Everyone here wears one always.
Went into my local Hallmark store prior to Mother's Day. They had mask required signs on the door, but I proceeded Maskless. No one said anything. There was even another lady checking out without a mask, too.
Went to a little mom and pop restaurant here in town - NO ONE - not even the owners - were wearing masks... felt good to see all the smiling faces!! God Bless!
Agreed - but around here, it seems like the smaller places are the SANE places for masks - it's the bigger chain places that are crazy for the stupid masks!!!!!
Los Angeles. My chain grocery store routinely enforces masks, and usually has a staffer at the door. Yesterday no one stopped me, and I did all my shopping, including talking to the butcher behind the counter, without a mask. Sporting goods store same thing, except I had to hold a hanky over my face at the register. Got plenty of stares from other shoppers both places.
Bass Pro Shop Shreveport LA. Staff wore masks, most customers did not. No sign about masks at entrance — but they do have a cool pen of live alligators!
Love going to our country place in Rural MO....not many wear a mask and they don't say anything if you don't wear on. I went to wedding 250 guests last October and just a few wore a mask.....nobody got sick. It's nice to smile to someone again!! If there is no mask rules on the door I don't wear one.
First time in Trader Joe’s without a mask…I was one of a few, but the cashier was super nice, waved me over, gave my kid suckers and was very friendly. Wasn’t sure what to expect but it was all good. ?
Not one time have i worn a mask outside of my job (hairstylist). I've been harassed but refuse to comply with tyranny. I served my country (US Navy vet) and would not be living up to my oath if i did. 3 places refused to allow me in and i filed claims with US Civil Rights Div. (ADA). Don't know if anything was done (they could be fined up to $75,000 for the first offense and up to $150,000 for 2nd). I felt i had to take some action.
Fred Meyer in Southwest Oregon. Nobody said shit the whole time. It seems that non maskers smiles have grown 4 sizes larger when we run into each other.
Local butcher. No signs but people still walk in with a mask. Butchers don't wear them, and neither do we. Great to have a face to face conversation about meats and grilling!

locàl Wawa this morning. decided no more mask. nobody inside said a thing, other than expressing they were happy to see my ugly-ass mug
During the entire pandemic, I have never been harassed or treated poorly at a Kroger‘s grocery store, Home Depot, or Walmart.
If asked do I want a mask, I’ve always said no thank you and have a great day. That’s it!
I live in Arizona
Menards are still a Nazi Zone in Wisconsin, got kicked out last weekend but I made sure to fill my cart with small piping Parts before I left

Mom and Pop places are either the best or the worst places for masks.

Surprisingly walmart and dollar general also one of our local garden stores which is mostly outside anyways.
Although that could be from the community itself in my case.
All the same God bless you in Jesus name friend.

Rural Missouri. Signs on most doors, but never wore one, never had a comment about it.

I haven't worn a mask at 7-11 since the winter, they've never said a word about it. I go there almost daily.
