"Sure. That makes total sense. You got to make sure asymptomatic people (that is people that are not sick or contagious per CDC) wear a mask (that does NOT actually stop viral transmission) to protect customers that have, apparently, been vaccinated (actually gene-altered, but that's a separate issue)... for a disease that has a 99.96% survival rate for most people that get it...
You have every right to implement policies at your business, but we are going to pass."

The problem with this is you're expecting their overwhelming cognitive dissonance to dissipate when confronted with questions like this. They will double down after a slight pause and some internal consternation and then act like you didn't say anything.

When we have Google to contend with, it's mighty difficult. Especially when the sites that contain alternative information are pretty sketchy or janky looking. Hard to convince normies when we send them links to articles on sites that look like they were cooked up on the computer in a basement of someone on the run from the CIA.

Yes I do this same thing. Link to the EXACT peer reviewed article and explain that you've read it and came to a different conclusion than Google. It still won't work but at least they have to admit they trust Google more than science.

Chlorinated pool water kills pretty much everything.
If it didn't pools would be a constant source of diarrhea and other issues since I can guarantee you that people fart in the pool not to mention the ass-water and occasional anal leakage that affects quite a few percent of any population at any given time, and anyone in a pool will get pool water in their mouths.......

I just don't say anything and go in maskless anyway. Right now, they legally can't ask if I have been vaccinated - and I'm not saying!
I refuse to pretend to be compliant. I won't give them my money and I want them to know why they lost my business.

No. At least they don't require the kids to wear a mask in the pool. They at least recognize that is dangerous. :)
Would be a real shame if an adult in a mask were to pass out while swimming in a mask or just wearing one in the building. They might have to rethink their policy.
I think this logic tracks in a world where trump didn't push it and get it the emergency auth. It is simply untenable to make it mandatory for any organization period. Private business can make their own rules as long as they stay within the lines of what's protected and what's not. You can't say no blacks etc but those protected classes are pretty well defined.
Good on you - make these sheep learn to wake up and question their faulty reasoning.
If you feel that strongly, why not protest outside their business, maybe redpill a few more people. I feel strongly enough to withhold my money and write an email. To do what you suggest is not feasible given I actually have a job to work, a home to maintain, and a family to spend time with.
I used to suggest to people to go picket and protest, but I stopped when I realized that I was suggesting people to do things I won't do. I made it to one protest in my life for the Tea Party which was cool, but I was single and it was on my way home from work.

It's crazy. Just got gas (3.39 a gallon btw). No one around but me. Place is nearly empty. No other cars in the lot. Car pulls up with a NY tag. 4 overweight kids get out wearing grungy sweaters and flip flops. Like zombies, they all pull their masks on and begin to wander around with blank stares on their faces. One goes inside. The others saw me staring (never worn a mask here) but just looked away, confused. Was hoping to let them know they don't have to do that here (FL), but I don't think it would have mattered.
They have psychologically destroyed an entire generation of kids... not to mention a large portion of their parents.

Also, using cloth masks while swimming in a chlorinated pool is dangerous and foolish. One, it offers no protection, even says so on EVERY mask label in the World. Second, it's a safety hazard, as wearing cloth over your face while swimming can cause death from asphyxiation and/or "shallow water blackout." Third, you're outside. Fourth, even if it's an indoor pool, chlorine kills EVERYTHING on contact. WTFO?
What are these people thinking?
I’m still in a mask mandated state- due to be lifted next week ?but went to visit NY this weekend that just lifted their mask mandate- but a lot of places had that same sign up. I just went in mask free & nobody said anything. There was a fellow who walked in with a mask on still. Let’s see what happens in my state next week & if those same signs go up.
Guessing this is FINS. My daughter teaches private swim lessons and working with a little girl that was traumatized there because of the mask they made her wear . She did have to wear it during the lesson though.
