You could still have the power on and all appliances working like nothing happened. But cut internet from the process and see what happens
Probably far more then anyone in Government is willing to admit. If internet goes down then that means Company intranets are also toast.
Databases, Banking, Medical Records, Ordering systems, Inventory systems, GPS, the list goes on.
If the internet goes down it will in essence paralyze the economy. Very few places maintain physical records and paperwork anymore. It’s all stored online. Which they then can’t access.
