You would survive, especially with improvised evaporative cooling. Many more would suffer would freezing because they live in homes without wood furnaces, or in areas where burning anything is illegal. They would die. Their pipes would freeze. They’d have no water. They wouldn’t have enough heat/energy to leave their homes for supplies. Everyone needs to warm up from cold weather, blankets only last someone for so long.
Summer camp when I was a kid in southeast Texas. In a tent. 100+ temps. You and most everyone can survive a warm summer. Cold winter maybe not so much.
Are they 12v adaptable? If there's no electricity there's no fans.
I worry about all the old retired folks (like my parents) in Palm Springs suffering from heat stroke. I totally agree that losing power when it's freezing is far more difficult to survive. But old people can't handle the extreme heat of a desert as successfully as the younger crowd.
But what about peeps who lose their AC? It's triple digits in Palm Springs.?
Margaritas on the beach!
No beaches in AZ, just dirt. But it would totally be worth it
I love the contrast between this Q drop and what you've chosen to be concerned about lol Not trolling. Genuinely amusing XD
It's hotter n hell here in Louisiana. I prefer NOT losing my ac if possible.
Alabama's also hotter than Satan's anus as well. We could have a competition to see who's the hottest.
Florida is hotter than a mother too. And I grew up without ac and black mold from the fan in the window.
I don't want no ac in Alabama either lol
Yes, and here in AZ, we do get warm. We are hitting a mild 106 today. Our nights dipping in the mid 70s. We need power too to keep cool.

Yep, I've camped in 100+ degree weather before, it's easier than trying to stay warm in the depths of winter.
Right? Id rather sweat then freeze to death, just my preference.
Roger that. And global cooling is a MUCH bigger threat than global warming.
Its a dry heat
Today's humidity was at 7. Very dry.
90% here today
My nose is bleeding just thinking about this.

Same in Maricopa County!
