Absolutely LOVED this Guy...My favorite...21 killed in 21 gun salute today. AND Saliva found to cause deadly cancer, Only when swallowed in small amounts, over a long period of time.
What about when he said: “I really haven’t seen this many people in one place since they took the group photograph of all the criminals and lawbreakers in the Ronald Reagan administration"? or when he said: “I understand the marketplace, but government is supposed to be here to redress the inequities of the marketplace," or when he promoted abortion? Or when he called Christianity "bullshit"? I would be cautious about giving too much love and respect to this man. His lip service to mocking political correctness does not make him a Patriot.
You can recognize his perspective and laugh at his comedy without agreeing with him. If you close yourself off to your political opposites you will only create an echo chamber and be just as bad as they are.
Thank YOU -> CRUSH...Jeeze...We start to BECOME... THEM! Appreciate the Comedy!!
"This country was founded by group of men who told us all men are created equal. That is what is known as being stunningly—stunningly full of shit."
He made me laugh when I was about 15 years old and didn't know any better.
Watched him yeeears ago.. enjoyed his STYLE of humor.. didn’t know the rest.. thanks for sharing that.. liked what he said in this quote !!
No, not a patriot per our definition, but definitely a person who called it like he saw it, and didn't give a shit who's feelings he hurt. What he spoke was what a lot of us think. Also, as Pede below stated, you don't have to believe all he says, but enjoy the comedy and telling you like it is.
Ultra...He went to a Catholic School...as a Youngster...He was just pointing out amoung a lot of things " they were alway's pushing for Pain, we were alway's pulling for Pleasure.
Remember "Baseball/Football"? I was used to camping with my son's scout troop. Then, I took my daughter's scout troop camping. Easy 20 minutes of standup material there.
Yes...and the balls and strikes! you can't say...well Jim, he has two balls on him!
Football - Tackling, blocking, clipping Baseball - Sacrifice fly, bunting, designated hitter (I forget his actual ones, but I do remember it being pretty funny)
YES...LOL...I have used that one A LOT!
"They are in a club and you ain't in it" - George Carlin
BAM!!! Slayer...Forgot about THAT one!!! TY!
This is a great quote, but I never appreciated his nihilistic/communist attitude later on in life as he began railing on America whilst propagating the progressive narrative. I suppose he lost hope and realized that very little could be done about the troubles we faced, or the sheer stupidity of the greater population.
Well said fren
But he really became an angry old man in his last few years. I don't think he said anything funny during the last years.
Didn't George Carlin have a special that was scrubbed from being shown? It coincided with the 9/11 attack? I remember hearing about it. I wonder if it's still around? It would be interesting to see if it had any relevance to today. He did harp on the one percent alot. I still remember his special all those many years ago.
Think of a person with an average intelligence… And then realize that half of the world is dumber than that
He was my dad's age, he was also correct in all he saw wrong with the world.
One of our Grandfathers of "based".
My father, who was born around the same time as George used the OK sign his whole life - he was not cabal or anything close to it.
Yes. I also protest every picture of an OK sign as proof of cabal membership. I have used it many times, never knowing there was anything potentially sinister behind it. I even did it with the sarcastic wink! (I never thought about it until just now what that might signify).
I also sometimes put my hand on my stomach under my coat; the freemason sign. I never knew where it came from. I did it as a pose, probably because I saw others doing it (and its kinda comfortable).
There are some symbols that are a little more blatant though. Like covering one eye with the 666 symbol, or wearing upside down crosses, etc.
Then again, I used to be into rock and roll ("a rocker" in high school). I never wore an upside down cross that I can remember, but I wore skulls. I wore a shirt with the eye of Horus that I remember having. I never knew anything about any of this stuff, yet I could probably find pictures of me as a teenager that would make me look totally guilty. Oh ya, and I did the devil horns thing. That was totally a rocker thing to do.
Our world was created by the Luciferians. Many of the things we use, symbols, etc. are things we are inundated with every day of our lives. It would be ridiculous to think that none of that would trickle down to the unwitting masses; kids just trying to fit in and be "cool".
At some point all will likely be revealed. Hopefully we don't start hanging people without evidence of actual crimes before that happens.
Anyone who has (or in this case, had) a major platform on the world stage needs to be looked at differently than the average person, as it has been alleged that you don't get a major platform on the world stage unless you're a cabal member. You might be a funny comedian with a certain level of success, but it's alleged that only cabal members get to the highest levels - with television specials, major interviews, and other high-profile jobs. Their actions, words, and the signs and symbols they use need to be viewed with this in mind. I'm not saying that Carlin using an OK sign, also a 666 sign, proves that he's cabal, but I will make a note of it.
So "guilty until proven innocent", then?
The "OK" sign is considered offensive/obscene in, I believe, some Asian countries.
So trump?
Carlin feigned a hatred of both the left and the right. When you look at his support for the welfare state and his rabid support of abortive murder, you see that his disdain for political correctness was merely a cover for his deeper lefty leanings.
He might have hated both (not uncommon to hate Democrats & Republicans) or could be part of both. Until 2 decades ago I was a Democrat. I'm still pro-labor and anti-war.
Despite your remaining communist labor sympathies, however, you seem to have recovered from the sentiments that mostly define Carlin: namely (as above) his contempt for Reagan/Bush/W. Bush; belief that conservatism is a philosophy of violence and hatred; his atheist take-downs of Christian faith; and his boisterous support for the murder of the unborn. Carlin was neither a doctrinaire Democrat nor Republican, but it is for me, personally, difficult to admire and praise a man who stood in staunch defiance of the values professed by those who gather in this forum.
