I’ve had five kids and no stretch marks (I have a long torso, so I had extra space I guess, and stretchy skin), I workout regularly and stay in good shape.
For me it was all about getting back into it as soon as possible, not putting it off and letting the fat get all comfy.
It’s hard work and it bugs me when people say that I’m just lucky because I sweat my butt off for this.
My little ones like the gym too because they can play with the other kids their age.
Oh and breastfeeding! That helps get the body back quicker!
Your kids will have a good sense of taking care of themselves and exercising regularly, thus being healthier people, because you show them such a good example. Kudos to you!
Thank you! So far, my three teenagers are in great shape, all slender. Two are XC runners.
Hopefully it carries over to my two younger ones as well. We still eat yummy foods and have fun, we just try to be a little active.
If you have regular exercise in your life and continue those good habits, you can enjoy your food as well! Moderation is key, of course, but it sounds like you have it down pat! :) That's very inspiring.
