Firstly, let me just say, I am in no way attempting to distract from the audit, nor am I trying to doom. However, we would be remiss if we did not keep at least a peripheral awareness of the world around us. These are truly incredible and historic times we are living in.
Some troubling events in Chyna right now as college kids are being kidnapped from universities by CCP. Here is a video that was sent to me by a family member earlier today. Sorry if this is old news.

Also, Chyna has begun to incentivise multi-child families. I found many articles relating to this as I was searching for articles about declining birth rates in the US. I also found many articles dealing with declining birth rates in several European countries.

These happenings have lead me to infer a few possibilities. I don't think these are great leaps given current events and the nature of communism.

CCP has SECRETLY instituted a draft and are drafting bodies for war. Supported by encouraged family expansion, college kidnappings, and open threat of war. MOST LIKE imo (if I missed the draft announcement, I would be interested in seeing that report)

Chyna has not seen the population increase it desires from removal of one child policy and feel that they need to take drastic steps i.e. kidnappings people to become breeders. Supported by family expansion and college kidnappings. Less likely though not implausible.
I have a few more theories but they get considerably darker as the list goes on. I welcome and encourage anyone to provide alternative plausible theories. Please pray frens, pray for our brothers and sisters in china that are eyewitness to these troubling events that the lord keep them safe.

I think China has as many troops as they need. Many more than the USA.
But our military is more than 3x bigger than theirs. For example, we have 11 Aircraft Carriers, and they have 2.
Not to mention they'd have to get here. That's not happening.

China’s military is nowhere near as advanced as ours. They know that to face our might would mean massive casualties. I feel like the three child rule is to bolster their population for an impending war down the road. Basically breeding fodder for our cannons in hope to overwhelm us

I remember reading an article about if you want to produce stuff in china, your company has to give patents to the CCP.
We do all the hard work of creating something new, just to send it overseas to save a few private islands.
I would offer an alternative to a hotwar.
They always have used their proliferation to infest a certain region to export their kind. When the backlash comes, they scream bloody murder, and go in with force to occupy the territory. See Manchuria, Tibet, reasons for Nanking massacre, Vietnam, etc.
Right now they are exporting Chinese all over the world, taking over industry and manufacturing, real estate, education spots, etc, etc.
This is a very pernicious way of doing business, as it abuses openness and failure to curb.

Very true, although I think dragging kids, who were not protesting, out of uni has a new timbre to it, it seems their grip is getting very tenacious which makes me think they are losing control.
Having said that, during the great leap forward there were all kinds of college kids working the land (poorly) but I still think this is a sign they are buckling under the pressure.

This has been going on for some time and this could be plausible, but in the video I was sent the CCP police seem to be arresting indiscriminately. I suppose they could be conducting mass arrests and then sorting people out afterwards. Still a frightening prospect.

Well, this one's a no-brainer. When a country aborts their female babies in favor of male babies, removing the one-child policy isn't going to increase the population when the only people you have left to procreate are all males.
How about this speculation, rather dark:
The rumor is that China created two strains, an L (lethal) and S (safe).
They planned to export the L strain and depop the world.
Someone...maybe Pentagon? Switched the vials.
So China dosed itself with the lethal strain and the safe strain made its way around the world.
Remember how they built covid hospitals almost overnight?
Remember how they looked like they were burning things 24/7?
And how 20 million cell phone registrations in China disappeared?
I think they gave themselves what they tried to give us -- we got only the psychological warfare.
Now they need to increase their population.
