I've always maintained that truth is the ultimate virtue. When asked if you could change any one thing in the world to help people, my answer is to eradicate the ability to speak untruthfully. My children are raised to believe that lying is the worst transgression they could possibly commit.
People will be shocked when the truth finally hits them. When they learn that President Trump never lied to them and only ever spoke truth, most will fail to grasp the weight of his words initially. Seeing more and more people awaken every day is so encouraging. It helps me to know all the hardships that become of people who speak truth are proving worth it. Exciting times to be alive.
I'm still out on ACB, her family might have been threatened or they needed to go along with the WH's for the plan for optics but that scene during her testimony before congress where she showed an empty note pad is a strong indicator of someone that is solid in their principles and hasn't lied. She didn't need to keep anything "straight", she knew what she'd have said in the past without notes. That impressed me. Hope she's a good guy at the end of this.
I agree in principle but I am all about nuances. I would love to see your face in the future when your wife asks you if she looks fat in her outfit and you have to tell her that her ass looks like two dogs fighting under a blanket.
There are countless times in my life where telling a white lie would have been a simple, entirely unproblematic response. I can't tell you that I didn't go that route when I was younger, as it'd be a lie. But many years ago I made the conscious decision that no knowingly false words would be spoken again. Sometimes I am worse off for the truth, and I kick myself for causing my own suffering. I dont regret making that decision at all.
Also, luckily I won't ever have to deal with those entrapment questions from my wife. I'm lucky enough to have married an absolute fox, and she's a confident woman who couldn't be bothered with those types of things. I couldn't see her any other way regardless.
Wow, nice response, you are three sheets to the wind - all in. Respect.
There is something beautiful in the purity and will of it. I personally have found this world, ever more divergent from the truth, completely insufferable to the point of hating my fellow man. How can sentient beings be so easily led, so easily boiled like frogs as the Overton window traverses previously unthinkable territory? The truth, not my truth or your truth, the objective, quantifiable truth is a priceless commodity especially in stultifying, group-think normie circles at the moment. I salute your "don't shoot till you see the whites of their eyes" commitment to it .

I live by a rule. If you never lie, you don't have to remember anything.

Agreed. -sigh
I'm pretty certain that the SC appointed by DJT are Trojan horses, put on the inside to obtain first hand evidence against the corruption.
They are going along with it while knowing that their evidence will be key to cleaning it up.
Another rule to live by: “If it is not right do not do it; if it is not true do not say it.” ― Marcus Aurelius
And of course the Bible, especially the book of Proverbs are full of wisdom that will keep you out of trouble in both word and deed.
Damn you and your inconvenient logic...
Frees up a lot of energy!
A great rule.
That is SO true, and becomes more evident the older one gets.

The truth will set us free though. Kek
