I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.
I took that oath when I joined the USMC,and never thought it had a shelf life but that I was bound by it for life. But I proudly state it again here.
That might be worth arguing if we were a nation of Law, if we had any legit government, if our Society recognized morality or ethical composure of government.
I took the Oath in the early 70s, it still applies, I still consider myself bound by it. The one I took is different from the one Pepe posted here, mine was upon enlistment and we also swore to obey lawful orders from command authority and to disobey unlawful orders. That part of the Oath meant more to us than the rest, disobeying unlawful orders, because we understood that was all that kept tyranny at bay.
Anyhow, one takes the Oath because one desires America, because one desires to be the answer to the problem, because one loves God and desires a Peaceful Society. Our Constitution has proven to be the best instrument of government ever devised by Mankind, it works when a moral Society protects it.
Did you take the Q oath? It was more than you thought.
By taking the oath and posting it you actually became a recognized part of the Republic of America's militia. This entitles you to the status of POW if you are ever taken into custody. This gives you legal rights under the Law of War section 9.
Read up digital warrior just in case you ever need to claim this status.
Gen Flynn did not ask you to take and take it himself for no reason.
It was to protect you." - John Qpublic @jamescanplay
So you expect enemies would respect law of war ? Of course say the pledge, but don't believe those fascist / communist satanists would behave civilised way...
It's called taking the higher path/road less traveled. Their defeat will be all the more humiliating because they disregarded everything but their lust, committing atrocities and ignoring the law, and still failed. Have a dose of inspiriation.
I think you express doubt in POW policies then? I'm not sure what you want here. I said the pledge, and it seems it may have protective qualities, however, in life nothing is guaranteed.
I say I doubt it has any protective qualities in this case.It isn't about "getting protection",it is about realising your duty as American & accepting it.
Even seat belts have their protective limits. I'm assuming most people who wear them, or purchase insurances of various types do so for whatever level of protection they provide - even though that protection is never 100% guaranteed.

If this is considered 'posting' ...
I do solemnly affirm that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic;

Let freedom ring.

I swore allegiance when I enlisted in 1969 and my Oath has no end date.
Thank y’all for your service. USN SS 1969 - 1975.
I took the Oath on 2/14/1995. There is no expiration date.

Encased within your doubt is the very possibility [hope] of assurance though. We just don't see fully yet.
Uh, yeah.More shit posting. This "oath" won't entitle you to jack shit if you are arrested. No? Try it out.

Until they aren't... :-)
I took a video of my Oath.
I renounced Canadian and Polish citizenship as part of my Oath which I took seriously.
Yet the Border Guards did not let me into USA from Canada, arrested and abused me and sent me back.
Cana-died then locked me up in Psych Ward and tortured me, injected me, and performed ConVidzz test on me forcibly.
I will be applying for Political Asylum in USA and will go to UN as a recourse as a stateless person.
Good to know that I was an abused PoW through this ordeal.
That may very well prove out. This is a world wide war with a world wide digital army.
