Mine got out in 1905 right when things were starting to heat up and become unstable. My grandfather always told us never to give up our guns. He said the people gave up their guns and had no way to defend themselves when things went bad. Lots of people died and they had family that were left behind. We are pretty sure none of them survived. Sadly, it appears that history is repeating itself.
Hello from Russia!
My great-grandparents immigrated from Saratov a little over a hundred years ago. I may have to move back.
Same situation here, great grandparents were Carpatho-Rusyn, moved just before the revolution.

Just announced today that they’re resuming flights from the US. C’mon over! :-)
