So my company is about to enact the freedom of choice to wear your mask or not in honor of independence day to those only vaccinated. The managers have already told me that if you don't wear your mask they are assuming you are vaccinated so I have no problems there. However where I'm stuck at is of I should wear my mask very proud so when customers finally start to ask I can freely explain what the policy is. I thought hard and won't voluntarily bash what's going on but I will be one of the only people wearing a mask. What would you do or whatcha think? I couldn't get introuble if sales happen to plumet because I wasn't promoting that I was only telling the truth.

Well after I put my 2 weeks in I already have a custom made mask on its way lolol
Just dont wear a mask. Make people assume. I got yelled at by a lady in a store. I asked her if she trusted the "science" she said yes. I then asked her why she is still wearing a mask... Start there. For me in a liberal city, that seems to work.
Ha ha - that must have been glorious! ?
Enforcing a selective dress code is discriminatory. Either every employee is required to wear a mask, or no employee is. If management gives you grief about it, then take it up with HR.
And increased chance of pneumonia
It's the same in principle. You can't be singled out.
Management won't. My anger is beyond their control. I even told my boss the other day I feel like I'm disrespecting myself even continuity working for this corporation and now I'm making arrangements...
You have a really good point. That is a hard thing to choose to do. The masks are not healthy and do not work but if you could use it as a way to educate others on the vaccine and the way it is being weaponized, is it worth it....assuming those that ask aren't already vaccinated. I personally would choose not to wear the mask because I can't stand them but I can understand why you would.
I've been keeping it down when no one was around. I'm thinking it wouldn't even be a thing to scare people who are already vaccinated but more of making people aware they are creating an unfavorable environment for one group of people.
Get a mask with a yellow star on it. That ought to say it all.
I have ordered the supplies. Will be here before the policy is in effect. Thank you. <3
That's a good one
My kid's college jusr got this letter-hope it helps: https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vQAAT-6WRbgqj7NtAHBbXlV9pWiKAX-22XDjI1dCjnKQ39rIffo1At84DAeM51y1KSXlIwk34mIV6iV/pub?urp=gmail_link
Deff helps. I've been working on my letter of resignation and I'm trying not to burn bridges but make my termination clear. This deffinantly gives me good words as I'm convinced my company has been compromised.
You actually may have legal grounds to sue if they fire you or continue to discriminate against you. I realize most people don't want to bother with that. I hope you find a great opportunity to move to! The job market is an interesting mix right now.
they wont. managers made it clear what they are looking past so im not mad at the managers. Its the people who come up with these memos....
however someone elses comment on here made a great comment so i bought black face maks and 20 gold independence day pins. Im going to wear the independent gold star on my black mask when the policy takes effect. i also signed myself a contract at work that i can walk away whenever i was as long as i meet the agreement which im able to cancel at any time, lol
I dont know. I don't have any diagnosed mental disorders. I don't believe in those. I understand mental health is a thing but I'm also under the impression that when these doctors slap labels on individuality it actually hurts the person's self esteem and during my DARE classes self esteem plays a big roll in adults resulting is drug use disorders.
If you don’t believe in mental health disorders, let me direct your attention to the left.
That just don't get their critical thinking skills to work. That's a lot of energy.
Honestly, that’s how I feel, too. They could if they wanted to, but it’s not safe. They don’t venture too far outside the realms of safety. Safe spaces, after all.
I say ditch the mask. I'm noticing some people in my area of NC still wear them, but there's a pattern to it. Black people seem to be the holdovers. Something about the info they're getting, or their own lack of real digging, keeps them stuck there.
If your goal is to use the mask as a means to educate others, I think having success at that will be frustrating. Those who still wear masks are emotionally connected to them at this point, for any number of reasons.
I just don't see the point in having to fight through someone's emotional defences about this anymore, when the whole thing is crumbling and falling apart anyway.
I really wanna drive down sales honestly but in a reasonable way so they learn this is no ok it discriminate.
in a month everyones going to forget about a mask been going commando for awhile nobody says anything...
I wonder if they will start influencing the masses to question workers wearing masks. Seems like the direction it is headed in.
I'm actually confused if I should make that statement cause now I'm trying to understand of this is a reverse psychology tactic.
Only a sheep wears a mask so that answers your question. Dont wear one period.
But why not use this mask BS as an oppurtunity to counter fire my putting a gold star on it so as a worker I'm signaling to consumers the business is compromised go spend the money somewhere else?
Take off the mask and be free. I did not do Vax and could care less about their stupid rule. They can fire me if they don't like it.
Fuck that. No mask. Just don't brush your teeth.
