You don’t understand how blockchain works. Ethereum is decentralized.. it can’t be “wiped”. I host a node, so do millions of others, when you say “download everything now” that’s literally what ethereum is... millions of people who have downloaded everything.
There's no way that millions of actual people have just downloaded a 31 TB file though, consumer machines don't have anything like the sort of disc space available for anyone to push a file like that and expect all those individuals to get it.
I agree. However 31TB really isn’t that much anymore. 1TB microsd cards are like $20 now. Would only take like $600 and a week for an average joe to back up a data dump of that size.
