If covid is so deadly, why weren’t the Natl Guard and FEMA etc passing out n95 masks in communities? Sanitizer, gloves? Why didn’t they, once they flip flopped back to masks being helpful? There was plenty of time to make more, just like they had plenty of time to make ventilators. If it were a really bad virus, there would have been a big effort to manufacture and distribute effective masks. Not let people use homemade crap and the ones that say “not for medical use.”
N95s don’t stop virus sized particles either. It’s all bullshit.

And just to clarify- I said “more medically official.” More. I didn’t say they worked. I’m saying if the virus, if it even exists, were a real danger-you’d think the govt would be handing out in every community something a little more legit seeming. All they did was advise people to wear a piece of crap, homemade, ineffective, filthy mask that people reuse over and over without washing. They’d be dumping off boxes of some sort of damned masks. I don’t care what kind!!!!!! It’s all a load of crap!
I wouldn't mind if the coworkers in the cube next to me wore a mask when they have the snotty colds their kids bring them from school.
I did hear an analogy on N95 masks and viruses: Take a hand full of sand and throw it at a chain link fence, that's how effective N95 masks are against viruses. I think they are to stop bacteria from falling out of a surgeon's mouth / nose into the open wound of a patient being operated on more than anything, not actual viruses.
No. N95 masks are designed for wear in a contaminated environment, to block dust from the airways. They are vented to allow unfiltered air to be exhaled freely from the lungs. They protect against submicroscopic virus particles only in the imagination.

I think the real ones do.. . Not the Chinese ones made in china ( kn95???) Now this is an after thought. But if the virus came from a lab in china and we (MS) are telling people to use masks (made in china ).. how do we not know the masks are loaded with viruses and Bacteria long before anyone where's them ??

Yup. They never seem to have a problem delivering when it comes to hurricanes etc. but a world wide pandemic... nah you’re on your own. Make some masks yourselves, peons. My mom was saying early on she couldn’t get fabric or elastic anywhere so even that was a fail.
