I don't think you could get any clearer than a flat-out question to Q which he answers, NO, JFK Jr is NOT alive.

You're not seeing this in the right light.

Suppose he IS alive. Q isn't going to blow JFKJ's perfect cover by admitting in public to the enemy that he's alive.

So he's GOING to say JFKJ is dead if one of the following is true:

He's alive.
He's dead.
