It'll last a year without stabilizer added but don't expect your car to run very well. I managed to start a generator on three year old gasoline once and it was not pretty.
My general rule around the ranch is if it smells like paint thinner we don't use it..well we do mix it with some diesel and use it to light up our brush piles.
Old gas and old carborated v8's can eat pretty nasty fuel.
My grandpa had a '56 Bel Air convertible with a 327 small journal in it. The fuel in the tank was over a decade old, it brought up chunks of rust, was rust coloured and after replacing the inlet filter on the quadrajet, started right up and idled perfect.
Try that with a fuel injected engine and see what happens.
I have 55 gallons of diesel in a drum long term, gas I have in several cans that I rotate as i use it for lawnmowers, generators and such, all stabilized and have used gas that was 2 years old "properly stored"
Gasoline doesn’t last. Looks like the Theta variant is transmissible through the internet, boyes. Gotta put your masks on every time you post a meme.

That’s excellent advice. Rock on.

Take a look at solar generators.
Exactly...that fits our rule..if it smells like thinner or varnish, don't use it unless you're starting brush pile fires.
You're right. You can store diesel long term, but not gas.
You can store gas long term if you put a stabilizer in it. Seafoam is cheap and works wonders.

I watched videos about using vodka in some engines, might want to look it up too.
What a waste of good vodka
I've used Pri-G stabilizer and have used fuel stored over 5 years with no problems. Pri-D for diesel. Best I have found.
Does a silencer count as a mask for a gun? Black guns matter and we have to keep them safe!!
