Teachers Unions and Treason
posted 4 years ago by NanaQ45 4 years ago by NanaQ45 +83 / -0

Americans used to be smart and logical and tough. The teachers did this ultimately. The unions are refusing to follow the law or the Constitution. I think the entirety of teacher's unions should be deemed enemy combatants. Teachers should quit now, en masse, or be deemed enemies of the state. That is all.

How about this? Abolish all unions.

Unions serve a purpose: a check on the power of large capitalists. That said, there is no need to check the power of a public institution (assuming it is truly representative of the public, and working for the public good). Unions of public employees should not be recognized, as they only work against the public interest. California is a good example of this, as it's government was efficient and servicial up until the government allowed the unions in under Jerry Brown's early term in the 70s, and the downhill slide began.

No No No No No!!!!! Big changes are needed, but a good union makes life better for employees. (I am sure we can both provide good and bad examples, I am saying a good union.)

I wonder what type of work you do (please don't dox). Delivering for Coca Cola (non union in the city I lived in), I watched the Pepsi drivers average 10k more a year. I also saw them work less hours. As a teacher I worked as both union and non union (as I am right now I quit because of how they used my dues to support Biteme). The union teachers just got another step in pay because of the work the union did. Any organization can be corrupt, as can any profession. Scot Walker threw teachers under the bus. I found out I'm paid too much (not true, I have had to work a second job to make ends meet). I also learned I work less than 40 hours (not true, I average 50hours during the school year, and get lots of time during the summer). IMO - Unions look like a mixed bag of fruit.

Good unions grow up to be bad unions.

Unions are, by definition, socialist and corrupt. Get rid of them.

Really? What are we supposed to do, hope that most rich people will suddenly think of paying their employees instead of putting their money in their pockets? When is the last time you looked up the actual civil servant pay and said we need to pay our teachers, police officers, or civil servants more? Please dig if you do, when you read "... average pay in X state" remeber this includes the big cities. The highest paid teachers in my district are still 15k below "the average" reported in the news... I also want to add: the insurance is no longer "awesome". I am taking home less right now then I did 10 years ago.

Evil has infiltrated all levels of society. No one single profession is responsible. We all bare some responsibility for this. It is time we each do our part in our communities and stop pointing fingers and casting the blame.

Before “we ca do our part”, we have to call it what it is…. Evil.

And justice must be done. I’m not saying round up the teachers, but I agree that there needs to be wholesale changes from within certain professions.

Hopefully if the white hats win this thing, they can pass a bull where the funding follows the child. That will bring a much more competitive environment and new private schools can spring up all over the US that understand the importance of patriotism etc.

It's also not too much to ask these teachers to engage their critical thinking skills in what they are being told to do by their union. Unions generally don't have complete and total control over the actions of their members. School boards are not mandated to follow the union's instructions. So teachers, superintendents and school board members are all allowed to follow their conscience when faced with some evil directive, like CRT. I'm not letting any of them off the hook when this all goes south on them.

Teachers aren't that bright. No more so than aNyone else. The product they produce becomes less and less useful over time.

You bring up a great point. The school boards are where we can wrestle control back locally.

Unfortunately, what the last year has taught me locally, is that the school boards in many large school districts are 100% bought and paid for (controlled) by the teachers unions.

I think many (including I) took a lot of the smaller, local elections for granted and didn't realize the importance of looking carefully at local issues/candidates, and in particular the school board.

We don't have to fuck with the commies who join unions. Just get rid of the union. Put everyone on the same playing field. Unions are obsolete.

Look at rural schools vs city schools. Most of the evil happens in the big city schools. IMO - break the DS machine, and then things start getting better. Make it illegal to bribe politicians, and contribute to their campaigns (and give big fat jobs to their family members - Hunter is an example).

Not only the unions, but where do teachers ultimately get “radicalized”? In college. Time to clean out out colleges and universities, so our kids can get a real education.

I'm done with unions and Americans who think they are as American Apple pie. They aren't. They are Hammer and Sickle commies..

U like your well paying cushy jobs and think you are apple pie but can't see the damage unions have done to our nation. You are in a communist construct. If you are based you should get the hell.out of those commie organization.

I don't want to be in the union I am in at me other job. I was automatically put into it, and I can't opt out.

I think Maggie Thatcher at the right if it about unions.

They infiltrated everywhere under our noses. Now that we see it we must take action! Watch out for schools, churches, companies etc. That are clearly working on communists goals and stop giving them money. Our money gives them the control. Break them!

The reason we are seeing all of this "lawlessness" is because the Constitution is not in place anymore.

That is why these people are behaving the way they are. They know the Constitution is not the law of the land anymore, it is only that the PUBLIC doesn't realize it yet.

America has FALLEN, just most people don't realize it.

Please remember: that Q supporters come from every walk of life. I'm a teacher, I don't teach stupid CRT, crud history, or NEW math. I have gotten in trouble for doing what is best for our students. I REALLY want parents to help in the classroom, at the school, and with the students! I am floored by how many kids don't : fly kites, make paper airplanes, play cards, play board games, or even have family time. These kids need positive role models.

Please change everything! We need it!

I understand. I also appreciate good teachers. My point being if good people don't stand up then they win. I do not see many rising up at all. I agree parents are mostly total shits at this point but institutional racism being pushed is Unconstitutional and should be punished. Stand up and say no. Start a homeschool, do anything to NOT teach it if mandated. Why have teachers allowed the behavior? Administrators? Doesn't anyone care anymore or is it a lost cause? Systemic ROT. That's the systemic issue of our day.

IMO - It starts with openness... If your district doesn't have an open door policy, be more afraid. As a teacher, I have had other teachers close their classroom door to me. Those who are more seem to have less to hide.

CRT? Blessedly I have not had to fight this fight.

Teachers have less and less control over what is taught. Here is a scenario I had my first few years: 1) Students are having a hard time reading. District requires I teach their F&P teaching program. ( F&P summary - teach context clues to decode unknown words ). Student is then taken out of the class for reading recovery. Student misses part of another class (often science, which is fun). Student is able to make measurable gains with a lot of effort. 2) Student can not read well enough to do math word problems. I then have to find ways to help the student understand what we are doing at a lower reading level. 3) Student starts to learn they have problems with reading and math, they miss science, and start hating school. 4) Student acts out frustration and gets into trouble. I then: have a meetings with the principal, dean of students, reading specialists, math specialists and parents to uodate our progress

...(post locked on my phone)... Long story short: I spend hours outside of class supporting a reading program that does not help. Finally I figured out how to use the F&P program in a way that allowed me time to reach students with different programs, that I learned on my own time, and bought with my own dime.

IMO - the whole "American students are falling behind" is engineered to happen. "Best practices" in teaching support either a book printer, or learning system. The "teaching field" had been corrupted from the top down.

I know this is a Q board, but I believe the Cabal knows they can make it hard to teach by putting enough hurdles in place. In my experience: the best teachers "add onto" the approved curriculum to teach their students. Another tangent "No child left behind" takes students who could benefit in special education and places them in the classroom. Imagine doing a great job with 25 3rd graders, and having reading abilities from 1st - 5th grade in the same class. One group is reading "Where the Red Fern Grows" and the lowest group is looking for Waldo...

Vicious unproductive cycle with measurements that do not address the main issues. Yep. Big schools, like big government, are wasteful and completely corrupt systems. Please start a home school and get 5 or 6 students. We pay 7500 per kid for 3 of them already 8n private. You can make a living outside the system. If we abandon the control system, control loosens. At least that seems logical.

I am waiting until my kids are both 18. I have a fee years left. I might give it a go then. 7500 and state subsidies might work out. One of my goals would be small class sizes to ensure teachers have more time per child.
