I’d like to see pictures of these pet dogs of theirs taken over the years, just to prove said dog was indeed just a dog. My 16 year old cat died last year, I’d had him since he was a wee little kitten and have numerous pictures of him spanning our years together. I could show you enough pics of him and us together that you might tear up when you realize just how devastated I must be. Everybody that knows me knew about my stripey little buddy and our very strong bond. These people, not so much. We never hear a damn thing about their beloved pets that they’ll mourn forever until after they’re dead. Why is that? Rhetorical question of course. They aren’t capable of loving anything.
