Thomas Jefferson’s prediction was spot on.

He predicted and warned about several dangers that we are now seeing come to pass. He was strongly against a central bank and we all can see the damage that the FED has accomplished in the last century.
Jefferson railed against a Central bank and it was Jackson who removed us from them. I always wondered why my history professor in HS said Jackson was the worst president (this was before Carter). I assume they didn't like Jackson because he was against the Central banks
Yeah Jackson was the Trump of his era. The Establishment hated him and his "uncouth deplorable" supporters. Jackson is Trump's favorite president and I think he is going to make a comeback just like Jackson after he was robbed of a presidential win and hopefully Trump can destroy the central bank of our time as Jackson did. It is desperately needed and the fate of the Republic depends upon it.
I wonder if Jefferson is up in Heaven and thinking, "Man, am I tired of being proven right about this...."
The Framers of our Constitution are the time travelers.
People sometimes think the Framers were ignorant bumpkins, simply because they didn't have access to the knowledge we have today. The reality is they were learned men, many of whom were scholars of history, lawyers, generals, etc. They looked at the history of governments they had available and tried their best to craft a hybrid that was the best of everything that had existed up to that point.
The reasons they seem so prescient in the modern era are
a)most of us haven't had nearly the training in civics, history, law, philosophy, military, etc. that these men had almost 200 years ago, and
B) history has a tendency to repeat itself, and most of the problems we see today had existed in one form or another for millenia.
Most of the Framers had a good knowledge of Latin and Greek, and probably a working knowledge of Old English, and certainly the Middle English of Chaucer. They knew the etymology of our language. It's galling to be lectured about the 2nd Amendment by those who don't acknowledge that "regulated" in the 18th century meant "well run, reliable" as well as controlled, as the word is often used today. The temerity of those who would rewrite what was wrought is staggering. And they think deplorables are stupid. At least most of us recognize a work of genius.
Pretty much my point, but you have to keep in mind, these are people who assume if you don't live in a densely populated Urban zone, you must be a backwoods yokel who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground.
Case in point: Kamala harris saying people living in rural communities not being able to photocopy their IDs, as though being a farmer/rancher or a towny means you're somehow stuck in the 1800s and can't buy a scanner/multifunction printer for $30 at walmart, much less understand how to use it. (Most likely she was appealing to her 'base' with this argument, but you get the point.)
Outstanding.
