I live in Seattle, and sadly its not just Seattle that is a problem. basically everything north of Tacoma is too far gone. Southern and eastern Washington need to secede IMO. I don't even care to join Idaho, just make a new state and call it good.

Each state is guaranteed two senators and one house representative, and is guaranteed three electoral votes for president. We’d be literally unbeatable.
The Congress votes to admit new states and territories. So joining another state is probably the only way to get around them saying no to a new state.

While I support the movement here, there is no way it happens. Both state houses have to agree. And the OR house is too busy shitting on the 2A and poisoning children.
I see a shift coming in borders in various spots of the US but I do not see these two state houses agreeing on the proposal with their current make-up. First we need to get our elections fixed, then find out what the true demographics are.
Then I suggest that for example major metropolitan areas and direct associated counties are turned into city-states. I'm not set on how to define a city-state by population thresholds as of yet, but I propose they each get one Senator and capped out on house reps, such as half the representation as non major urban areas. These major metropolitan areas dictate too much in their respective states and the federal government, they are corrupt and poorly run. I know this would be a major change and would probably never happen but something needs to reduce their influence.

It is a practical summary of what is going on and the locally operating non governmental groups making decisions for our future and siphoning our tax dollars away from projects we have approved without any public oversight or consent. It tells us how to make a difference, how to fix things. It was written by a gay Democrat female from Santa Rosa CA which can be very useful in sharing with the sheeple who will only listen to a message of warning if it is coming from one of their own.
I finished it in two days. Anyone can read this book and make changes in their community.

Getting each state to implement an electoral college by county would be simpler and about as affective.
