Regardless of how prestigious and "safe" you think your kids' school is, you should be aware that university students are the perfect "test subjects" for the pharmaceutical industry. I've been out of college just over 10 years now and I vividly remember getting a meningitis vaccine on campus my freshman year, yet the university has no record of my inoculation. This is troubling to say the least. Within days of receiving the "meningitis vaccine", I started to have digestive issues, which I continue to deal with to this day. While doctors will call this anecdotal (their favorite way of explaining away issues which develop seemingly out of nowhere), I've found others who face similar health issues who were also pressured to take the meningitis vaccine during this same period of time. Of course it's far too late for any of us to be compensated thanks to the government's terms.
Talk to your kids. Ask them if they're being pressured by the university to make abrupt healthcare decisions. Universities will do ANYTHING for big donors, especially when they are being told it's for public health!

Also warn them away from credit card solicitors, Iif that's still a thing at modern schools. It was in my day.
You might still be able to get your records, if you’re interested. The university is highly unlikely to keep any records with your health information after graduation, considering the sensitive nature of the documents and the complete lack of need for storing that info.
If you ask around, you can probably get a record of the medical service that actually administered the vaccine. This was probably a third party with whom the university works, who would keep their own records on this stuff.
This is how it works with blood drives, at least. The university hosts the blood drives, but getting records would require talking to the Red Cross or whoever did the actual medical part.
They sure know how to find me for contributing to the school. I've lived in at least a dozen different addresses since than and they still find me...... Oh, and I never give money to them.

The individual I spoke with from the university didn't even have any way to check to see who administered the vaccines, that's the troubling part. I'm also outside of the window for claiming any damages so at this point it wouldn't make much of a difference. This post was mostly just to make sure parents are aware that this is going on and to plan accordingly. Had I known then what I know now... never would have even entertained the idea of getting that shot.
Huh. That is odd. Maybe check with the health services people on campus? They'd probably have been the ones to set it up, and I can't imagine they change providers that often.

Always tell them there are ways to opt out. Of course, the colleges won't tell you that, you have to know what box to check. My college kid skipped three meningitis by opting out.
My main concern is that most of these kids are too trusting to understand that they're being manipulated into getting these vaccines. Most students are fresh out of high school, and they are looking for guidance. Like most pro-vaxxers, I thought I was shielding myself from ever getting meningitis, thanks to the scare tactics and pressure from school officials. I wasn't informed of the risks, only that I should get it to protect myself and the others in the dorms. Sound familiar?
I homeschooled my kids and they know about Pharma. It's hard taking others because they would get pissed off at you. Doesn't matter how many vax injury stories you tell them.
My 2nd kid just refused a tetanus vax all by herself. She's vaxxed injured, so no way!
