if you string 2-3 16tb drives together in a raid 1 array (one disk) it'll give you enough space. Worst raid array, but gives you space for situations like this.
You need to read up on the difference between JBOD and RAID to learn how it is indeed possible to link multiple drives together that are viewed as a single drive by an OS.
Yeah I didn't even have to bother df -h'ing that...
I'm not even sure how to go about storing a single file that size without some special tools.
Any large file nerds want to offer up a quick guide for those of us who might want to round up several dozen hard drives and attempt to participate?
EDIT: I do see some 16tb drives available for ~$500 so it's not too out of the realm of possibility...

I don't believe it would be possible to download a single torrent onto multiple drives.
Once you have the file, you could break it up into pieces fairly easily. I'd expect that to happen if/when the file is decrypted, and reuploaded
A raid array could get you there, or software.
Not something an average user would be readily able to use.
