They actually organize and do shit over there and yet they are so often called cowards by so many in our country who have half the balls they have over there.
The French were the ones who funded our revolution. The French were the ones who inspired our revolution. I'm glad to see that their spirit of defiance against totalitarianism is still alive.
French here. This kind of remark piss me off. We won the first world war against Germany without your help, but we had to sacrifice 1,7 millions people out of 40 millions inhabitants, and many more millions disfigured or scared for life. For reference you lost only 50 000 people during the second world war. That's why the frenchs were so afraid to start another war after this trauma, because the price of victory was so high. You americans still have this romantic and heroic vision about war, which is very naive. Look up the faces of the victims of the first war and you'll see it was just a horror show. You had one war as well with England during your history, we had 30. And I'm not counting the wars with the germans, the italians, the spanishs, and the muslims. Learn a bit about history before judging other countries.
Around 1800 all Europe knew the French were nothing to be trifled with. As you said, the Germans didn't regard the French as weak in WW1. Only the ignorant would insult the French when it comes to courage. We have our own Vichy representatives in D.C. right now. They see what is happening and willingly collude with the communist takeover of our way of life. The really disturbing thing about this is our govt. officials and politicians know the majority of Americans know about the election treachery and still suppress the truth - and they don't have the excuse of a politically surrendered army to fall back on.
And so are you saying you will refuse future romantic, naive American aid?
Do you want to rethink that?
May be time to replace some portion of arrogance with some actual friendship. We are again fighting a common enemy and that enemy is a spiritual enemy who does not live within national borders. Remember that and know that your true friends are the belivers in liberty, equality and brotherhood.
Considering the fact tath the german army was superior in 1939, because our coward politicians refuse to invade Germany and dismantled his army in 1930, France would have lost anyway but with millions deaths, so I admit it was humiliating for France to capitulate but it allowed half of the country to remain unoccupied by the german army, and organize the resistance. It was the least bad solution since the mistake was already made 10 years before. I love the american culture and am very knowledgeable about it. This is not arrogance. I was just pointing the fact that your vision of war is essentially based on the second world war, and not the first, which, as I said, was just a horror show. When a big portion of your population is either dead or totally disfigured, you tend to rethink your thirst for war.
Based.

The French were the ones who rounded up their aristocrats and oligarchs and beheaded them all in the town square
Partially funded, yes.
I'm not so sure about our inspiration coming from the French or from antecedent French culture.
Tjey got that rap we Hen the Vichy French surrendered their country. But it's unfair to continue the slur.

Thank you fren, for doing justice to my country.
The price of victory is high?
What's the price of defeat, of capitulation?
And so are you saying you will refuse future romantic, naive American aid?

Those people include all American Patriots.
