Can we get a list of MUST DOs for when the shit hits the fan and we will be having to survive to get through it? For example, Food shortages, the black out, out of control crime, conflict, war etc.?

Highly recommend staying away from large cities if it is possible for you. In fact, that might be rule #1.
This is great life advice at all times
I agree!
Guns (large caliber for zombies, small caliber for hunting small game)
Ammo... lots of ammo
Non-perishable foods that can survive mid-term storage (1+ yr)
Emergency food that can survive long term storage (10+ yrs)
Gravity filter to make potable water
Solar Generator (noise from a gas generator will be a beacon for zombies)
As many forms of mass energy storage as possible (car batteries, gas cans, propane tanks, butane tanks, etc)
Alternative method of communication (ham radio, long range walkie talkie, etc)
Precious metals for bartering (I'm buying silver)
And of course some solid shelter
If these faggot globalists take down the grid and cut off the food supply, FEMA will take over and set up camps that people will flock to for food, water and energy
It will be monitored like everything else. Find people you trust with your life in a 100 km radius. Have plans.
I read the following book many years ago
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6679048-the-modern-survival-manual
It is not a typical 'prepper' book.
Fernando lived through a total economic meltdown. He recommends not trying to run and hide in remote areas because you will be found by roving gangs that are looking for people with stashes.
The best strategy is to form a partnership with your neighbors, that you help each other and come to each other's aid. Also buy window bars, and be very careful when you leave the house and when you come home. Also, keep your ears listening for motorcycle engines all the time.
Motorcycle engines cause of the roving gangs?
Yes. Fernando said that raiders always liked to come in quickly grab your stuff and leave quickly, so the dirt bike was their favorite transportation. In this situation where a neighborhood comes together, the raiders don't want to spend any time, otherwise they get outnumbered when your neighbors come to help.
Best though is to go online and search for a list. Basically, you want food water, energy, warmth cause winter is coming lol. Prep for a month minimum and get stuff you eat. Some of the prepper community go balls to the wall with combat training, and generators, and land navigation training. Making bug out bags and escape plans. I dont think we need to go that crazy but fuck if i know.
Keep what you have hidden. If starving people know what you have they will try to take it. I've even heard it recommended to stand in food lines anyway. If you are standing in a food line, then you must not have any food. It's even very likely the local government will take it to be redistributed if they know you have it. Remember the communist motto. From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs. If you local government goes commie. They will take it.
Be the gray man (just like everyone else).
One thing I did was upload about 1,000 prepper books to a kindle.
Those things last a long time on a single charge, require little power to recharge. (I have some solar)
Figured, if I was stuck at home with no power, I’d have plenty of time to read up and it could be a good resource if there was no internet to consult.
Amazon has the Kindle Fire 7" on sale dirt cheap occasionally. I bought some for $29.99 around Thanksgiving a couple of years ago. With a 128 GB microSD card, you can store many thousands of books. I have an Altoids tin with more cards loaded with stuff that I can carry in my pocket. So I can carry terabytes with me. The Fire can be charged with a very small solar panel, so it's good as a bugout item.
You can also download entire websites (or parts of them) with HTTrack: https://www.httrack.com/page/2/ There is a version for Android as well as the standard Windows and Linux version.
Don't tell anyone about your supplies. If the SHTF, become the gray man. If everyone else is hungry, you need to get thinner and wear old clothes when you go outside.
Most people no longer know what food plants look like, whether cultivated or wild. Use that to your advantage and plant seeds all over the place, your front yard, your neighbors' yards, ditch banks, and the edge of the woods. Learn the wild foods in your area. For example, cattails are 100% edible. Queen Anne's lace is related to carrots, and the roots are edible.
Learn to can, to trap small game, to cook on improvised stoves using found fuel, such as sticks.
The website SHTFPlan.com used to be good, but it went downhill and won't accept my posts anymore. But if their archives are still available, there's a ton of useful info in the article comments.
I'm not sure if all this info is strictly related to Q and the plan though. There are plenty of prepper sites and YouTube channels with tons of good info.
Man, if you haven’t been researching this since before last year, you are in for rude awakening. The time to start was years ago, the best time is right now, like today, you need to be ready right now.
watch 'survival' videos and learn fast
There are tons of prepper sites out there. But before you delve into them can I offer advice. 1-make a list of everything you need to survive like food, water, fuels, communication, heat and light, transportation, protection, medicines, what is the most likely disaster to occur where you live. Have a plan. 2-Learn how to use it. Do you know how to pressure can, purify water, do laundry without a wash machine, make soap, etc. Practice. 3-Though time is short dont overwhelm yourself buying everything at once and it sits in the garage. Be organized. I built up by buying 1 item from each column to start. Having a little of each is better than having none.
How I got started I went camping. All I brought was the tent and sleeping bag, flashlight and lighter and a bottle of water.
Somewhere there is something called a "List of Lists" which is very helpful.
I just found it here: https://survivalblog.com/2005/09/04/start-with-a-list-of-lists/
Start purchasing extra food. Just purchase stuff you normally eat that is shelf stable. Buy extra and rotate whenever you buy new food. Purchasing extra cases of water and and prescription meds as well. Extra medical supplies and antibiotics if possible.
Then purchase some defensive weapons and learn how to use them. Also, work with your local community to establish relationships. Friends help friends in need.
This is basically what we’re doing.
Helpful hint- keep black magic marker in prep area snd as you store things write expiration date large and visible on everything. I started this and it rocks for stock rotation.
First aid supplies, knowledge, and a manual. For more extreme prep, learn how to stitch a laceration.
What are you prepping for/against? Tornadoes are different than job loss and different than civil unrest. Figure out all the possible risks (this is a risk mitigation strategy) and rank order them
Be open with your family. This is about your responsibility to care for them. Go alone if you must, and don't nag, but be resolute in meeting your responsibilities. Build a family plan
Remember the Rule of 3's: you can survive 3 minutes without oxygen, 3 hours (in extreme conditions) without shelter, 3 days without water and 3 weeks without food. Overlay the list with the priority events above and integrate security and hygiene/medicine across all categories.
Do not over extend yourself. Panic buying of "stuff" will only make you feel more overwhelmed. Make incremental progress toward established goals. Buy food that you actually eat, integrate a gravity water filter into your daily routine. Do things that will increase your practical skills. like gardening and camping. Take classes if necessary (especially for technical stuff like medical or communications/electronics). Network with like minded people - neighborhood, church, sitting in the bleachers at your son's Little League game.....
Exercise!!!
Be adaptable
