That's because fuel is a conspiracy theory. Anything with a fuel gauge is in on it. If it moves to empty, it shuts down the engines and you don't move until you pay for more fuel.
The planes that fly from south America to south Africa get an exemption from this, plus are allowed to fly faster to keep the illusion of a round planet going.
Does that seem like a good way to explain it, or do I need more training :-)?

Well in most threads i would say that your sarcasm was loud and clear but in this thread it was a tad more difficult.
