I hope you are too, but it seems they have stopped us at every angle to make us comply or possibly to starve us out. We all know what is coming down the road for us, and I think they know we're not stupid. Eventually they will be found out and then it will be over. God bless and have a great day.
Stocked up 2 weeks ago. I work for a large agricultural company and since June we repeatedly receive emails about supply chains, delays, shortages. I also work PT at a grocery store - the back rooms aren't as full as they used to be. They can't get many products in for the forseeable future. Not fearmongering, just facts. Order and get what you can!
Dang. Just tried to put 5 packs of green beans in my cart and the quantity was automatically reduced to 1 (pack of 24 cans). Interesting. Thanks for posting.
I keep getting a feeling mid month food shortages are going down, already happening in UK. Been stocking up each week for things I lacked. Got one of those straws for water purification. Be prepared anons!
That's frightening. Hopefully it's just because they lack the manpower to deliver huge orders right now due to their shitty workplace conditions chasing off employees to greener pastures, but given the continual downturn everything's taking, it would be wise not to assume the best.
Get yourself a couple of IBC Totes, park them in a secluded place in your yard, shop, basement or somewhere not too visible and fill them up. You can find these all over the place for $85-$120.
Just make sure you get the kind that are food grade.
You'll die a lot sooner without clean water than without food.
Just bought 3 mos. Freeze dried stuff from mypatriotsupply. Went through Bongino's website to get it for $597 vs $897. Other patriot store had it for$597 normally, so probably not a big discount in reality, but they have 4-layer mylar sealed bags vs 3-layer bags at the other place. Decided to give bongino the bump. I was going to buy it anyway to add to the stockpile. Alsospent a bunch at local big box grocery store and picked up dried food and canned goods. Better safe than sorry, plus hurricane season is right around the corner.
Lots of carbs, minimum 2000 cal per day. Some meat, but not much. Freeze dried meats are very expensive. If you are surviving, it doesn't matter what it is, it is just good to have food. Beans are used for protein supplement vice meat because of the cost differential. There is chili mac with ground beef, but it is mostly macaroni. The stews have meat too, but again, its a small percentage. I have purchased the#10 cans of diced chicken and ground beef, they are fairly expensive, especially now. All meat is pretty expensive right now.
Fortunately, water isn't a problem for our house; we have a 5,000 gallon pool (enough for our little neighborhood, but others have pools too :) ) I need to head out to buy rice, beans, and canned fish and meat. I looked into that Patriot Food, or whatever that company is called that runs ads on talk radio, and it seems that their stuff is almost all carbs and no meat protein, so in light of that, a VERY expensive way to buy what is easily available in stores, and can be kept a long time.
Boycotted them over two years ago. But local at every opportunity!
That sounds more like the reason. You hit the nail on the head. Thanks.

It is a possibility.

Sams is also limiting purchases of canned veggies

Hope springs eternal

Dont forget to add the proper amount of bleach to this...
They know they are going to be slammed with food orders soon.

Can you confirm that all the stuff they sell is pretty much just carbohydrate meals?
