Don't let your end time theology ruin your faith to overcome this world, your faith to be the victor in Christ. Jesus returning to take us away is a faith that weakens the resolve to make the world a better place, it weakens the resolve to win, overcome and conquer by faith in the word of God. End time theology makes Christians weak, waiting instead of acting, expecting God to fix everything, and not take responsibility for making the kingdom of God on earth. God is not going to fix it without people of faith taking action. Don't let your doctrine make you a weak poor example of a human being.

Taking us away from the world is not the same as taking us away from the earth.
The Earth is God-Made The World is Man-Made. The end of the world is the end of the system that has been set up by evil.
Right, and you are in the world, but not of the world. Great point.
This is 100% correct.
Don't know about that. The physical body isn't designed to last. Besides, the Creator said: "You shall die on the day you eat of it" Adam lived to be several hundred years old.
Did he die?
yes. He died spiritually. He left God's presence, and the position of God's son, and adopted Lucifer as his new Father, and become Lucifer's guy. Spiritual death is being separated from God, and being part of Satan's lineage, not Christ's lineage.
I mean, why do we have to be "reborn"? Because we are all born in the Satanic lineage, not in God's. Thus, through Christ, we become "reborn" into Christ's lineage. We pass from death, to life.
Christ's return is the completion of the process. Because, although our spirits are returned to God's lineage by the Blood of the Cross, our flesh has remained under Satan's control, and Satan's lineage. Both the earth, and our flesh, needs to complete the process, so that in spirit AND in flesh, we are part of Christ's lineage.
ROM 8:23
Yes, they would. The physical body only does not last because of the fall.
"Don't know about that. The physical body isn't designed to last."
Don't forget there was a 2nd tree in the Garden: The Tree of Life.
This is why Cherubim were placed at the entrance with a flaming sword to keep Adam and Eve (and Satan - another Cherubim) out of the Garden, lest they eat of the Tree of Life and live forever with the knowledge of Good and Evil.
"Then the LORD God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil. And now, lest he reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever...”Therefore the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. So He drove out the man and stationed cherubim on the east side of the Garden of Eden, along with a whirling sword of flame to guard the way to the tree of life."
~ Gen 3:22-24
Certainly don't forget that.
But also, consider:
"Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when longing is fulfilled, it is a tree of life"
"Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by the gates."
So, what is this tree of life? What was the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil?
Some will interpret this completely literally, thinking there were two literal trees, and a fruit on one of them, and a snake that spoke with words.
But that's not really logical or consistent with so much we know about God.
Why did God give the commandment? "Do not eat of the Fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil" but NOT say "Do not eat of the Tree of life?" Why was the way to the ToL only blocked AFTER the fall?
Test? No. IF I put my children at home, put a bottle of cyanide or lets say, a delicious bar of chocolate laced with cyanide on the table, then said: "Kids, I'm going out! Don't eat the chocolate! If you eat the chocolate, you will die!"
If I tested my kids in that manner, I'd be put in a nuthouse or sentenced for murder. A Father of love would NOT test his children in a test that would result in their death and thousands and thousands of years of suffering if they failed. Inconceivable.
Also, Adam and Eve BOTH knew they would die if they ate. So what could they possibly desire MORE than life itself? Some random fruit, no matter HOW delicious, no way anyone would eat it, let alone pure children of God, if they knew it meant they would die.
Moreover, can the mere act of something cause sin? "Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man; but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man." Matt 15:11. Jesus words.
Conclusion? The fruit was not a literal fruit. It was a symbol of something. Just as the snake was not a literal snake, but a symbol (which we know subsequently was a symbol of Lucifer, one of the 3 most powerful and senior archangels)
Whatever it symbolized, Adam and Eve were tempted to "eat" it, even though they knew the consequences would be death.
And if the Fruit is a symbol, what about the two trees? The two trees are symbols too. Like the snake.
Why is Jesus called "The true vine"? What did Adam desire, such that his Fall meant he was cut off from it?
The Tree of Life was the symbol of the perfected Son of God. Adam was destined to become that son, but he fell. Thus Jesus had to come in order to fulfill that perfection. From before the creation of the world, God had already planned the perfection of his Son. The Son is the model for the entire creation. In this sense, when Jesus fulfilled this, he became the fulfillment of that vision and ideal.
"For it became Him, for whom are all things, and through whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings"
Christ grew to his perfection via his sufferings in his life. His life before he began his ministry was not actually a happy one at all. Sufferings.
The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil is a symbol of Eve. Even before perfection. Everything hinged on Eve. If Eve resisted temptation from the Archangel, there would be no fall. Adam and Eve would grow to perfection, and God's kingdom would have come to fulfillment without a history of pain and torture.
Two trees in the midst of the Garden? = two humans, a male and a female - at the very central point of God's universe and creation. His son and daughter. And, because they had to grow to perfection by their OWN responsibility, responsibility to be faithful, to obey, to UNITE with their Father's word, that's WHY they were given the commandment.
No commandment? = no responsibility = not growth, maturity and self-creative effort (via faith). Robots, only.
BUT if they failed, it would bring disaster. Death, spiritual death, separate from God, and become reborn as Satan's children.
So what was the fruit? What would be so precious that they would even risk death, be drawn across the line?
What is a fruit? a fruit is that which contains the seed of the next generation. it is the fulfilment, the sweet, tasty, fulfillment that contains the seed for the next generation.
The fruit of the Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil was the fruit of Eve, her sexual nature. Eating that prematurely, would bring disaster. ONLY after she had matured, should they eat. Also, they ONLY way they would eat this fruit prematurely, sinless as they were, would be IF the Archangel tempted Eve and seduced her.
Think about it. What is the greatest tool of the Cabal, the Satanic bloodlines? Pedophlia. Sex with immature, pure children. Coincidence? No. The FIRST crime ever committed against God was the crime or pedophilia. The First Pedo was Lucifer. He tempted God's pure and immature daughter, whom God had warned, via Adam, NOT to eat. What happened? She ate. Then? She went to Adam and tempted him to eat. What happened? They, reborn now as Satan's children via a blood connection, lost their capacity and even qualification to live in "Eden" - God's Created ideal world - and the way to perfection was cut off by Adam.
Until the True Vine came, after millenia of preparation, and through his own suffering and effort, accomplished perfect unity with the Father's heart. So that the Father lived in and through him 100%, as humans were originally designed to do.
Why else do we have to be "reborn"? Why do we await our adoption as sons, the deliverance of our bodies? Because we are all born of that fallen lineage of the Archangel.
And if and when we unite with Christ at the Second Coming, we will be adopted, our flesh restored to God's full dominion, and the way for our own perfection will open up. We will wash our robes (Unite in purity) and be qualified to eat of the Tree of Life (become part of Jesus' perfect lineage via our own perfection through him.
Solomon talks all the time about conjugal love as being likened to eat a fruit. All the time.
These and other mysteries...
To some, well most, these ideas and this interpretation will bee shocking. unbelievable. Trigger a christian form of cognitive dissonance. Because we have NEVER read of understood the scripture from this perspective. But the more one investigates it, the more it makes sense. Not just sense. It opens up the reality of God's true heart. His heart was broken on the day his children abandoned him for an eternity of suffering. Jesus was a man of tears. (read the gospels, to see)
Christ is not only our savior. It through CHrist and the Holy spirit that we leave the realm of death - slavery under the false father Satan - and enter the realm of life, destined to be restored to God in both spirit AND in flesh.
"Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies" Rom 8:23
Our Bodies redeemed? Why? Because still the flesh has remained under Satan's ... dominion.
Peace and Strength, in Him, patriot...
FI
What you say is correct.
"But our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ...' ~ Philippians 3:20
Striving to establish or "keep" what we have here on this earth is futile, in the long run. For Satan is the Prince of the air, the current Ruler of this world. Only the Christ can defeat Lucifer and the Kingdom he (lucifer) is trying to establish. We know, from prophecy, that Satan WILL be successful for a time at setting up this kingdom (One World Governance) here on earth.
We (Believers in the Christ) are also called "sojourners" on this earth:
1 Chronicles 29:15; Psalm 39:12; Psalm 119:19; Psalm 119:54; Hebrews 11:9; Hebrews 11:13
There are always two prophecies: one if we fail, and one if we succeed. Only Christ has defeated Lucifer, but he needs US to unite with him and finish the job. That's what all this is about.
"Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices / as much as in obeying the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice."
Better to unite, and fulfill his will, than to disobey, not unite, and require a penance, an atonement.
Christ could forgive sins BEFORE he went to the cross, right?
Kind of like "Trust the Plan", isn't it?
Exactly.
Great post. Faith in God has resulted in calm for me in these unprecedented times. I share the power of prayer whenever I can and pray for those who are troubled. It's easy to be overwhelmed and lose sight of what's important. Focusing on the simple things in life - family, friends, faith, health - and trying to do what's right has made a huge difference.
Awesome!
So many Christians have been inculcated into a biblical perspective that virtually renders them incapable of viewing God's will with new eyes.
What happens if Christ returns, but not in the way that Christians expect it? WHat happens if Jesus comes back in a way they do not recognize?
There's plenty of scriptural content to uphold such a possibility.
I mean, consider: even the Hebrews were awaiting the coming of Elijah to precede the arrival of the Messiah. So when Jesus showed up proclaiming himself as the Christ, (the Messiah), they rejected his view because "where is Elijah, huh? This guy does not even know scripture!"
but when the disciples questioned him on this point, he said what? "If you are willing to accept it, he is Elijah who is to come" Matt 11:14.
Even John himself was oblivious to this fact: "Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” John 1:21
This is despite that john's dad was told was pretty much told he was... "And he will go on before the Lord in the spirit and power of Elijah" Luke 1:17.
So, John the Baptist was in fact the return of Elijah, even though he himself didn't grasp that point.
The point here is, our theological view can easily cause us to be oblivious to God's will, including the manner in which Christ Jesus will return.
Either way, its up to humans to return the Earth to God, under Christ's leadership and kingship. I see that happening right now.
I bet even the Christians before during war thought it was already their end time. Hmm.
Yes, a relevant point.
Actually, even the disciples thought their time was the end times. Believers have been on tenderhooks since day one. Even Jesus said "what does it matter to you if I come back before he dies?" implying it was just a few years away.
However, "now we see dimly, then we shall see clearly"
There are a bunch of scriptural and logical reasons for understanding what the end times actually are, how they will present, and what will happen.
So, actually, we need better understanding that just thinking "goodness, the Schiesen is hitten das Fanen!" so it must be the last days!
No, reason, logic, faith and most importantly understanding need to combine.
"Surely the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets." Amos 3:7
Certain prophets KNEW when Christ was born, although the religious leaders of the day did NOT. Thus, when the time is ripe, the truth will be revealed. I understand what I see happening today because I understand about the nature of the Last Days. I don't understand the nature of the Last Days because of what I see today!
Just saying.
Yup, blinded by our theology, and kept there for fear of straying from the popular view. Christians are breaking free though, it must be part of the awakening.
Inclined to agree
"In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams"
Now, Christians have always had those who prophesy, and those who see visions, and those who have dreams. But in my view, the KEY elements of this scripture is this:
"in the last days" and "I will pour out my spirit"
meaning? With the fulfillment of His providence, God's presence will become much more widely and deeply accessed by his Children. It will become a far more intimate relationship and connection than what has preceded "the last days".
Awakening.
"For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known"
Consider. When is "now", when is "then". It's hard to imagine that Paul was saying "now, in 50 AD" and then is like, in 300 AD, or 600 AD, etc.
No, I'm confident he was expressing how the reality for believers up until the last days is the "now" and that WHEN the time comes, with the fulfillment of providence, THEN we will see clearly.
NOW, I know in part. THEN, I shall know EVEN as I am known.
Known by who" By the Father, and by Christ. So, I'll know myself even as THEY know me. Wow. That's a pretty serious upgrade!
Awakening.
When does spring arrive? After winter has gone? No. Even in the midst of winter, spring is already active. Likewise, the advent of God's Kingdom (God's world) takes place even while the Satanic kingdom (Satan's world, Satan's system) is crumbling, being destroyed.
Great post.
Acts 2:14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
Peter said "This is that"............the last days over 2000 years ago, oh the worlds that have fallen since, but Christ's Words endure. It is the same today, we are called to overcome, not wait for God to fix it.
Verse Of The Day over @Christian.win is:
1 John 4:4
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
You can find the answer to what you are describing in the parable of the talents. What did you do with what was given to you? Did you squander it? Did you hide it away I fear of what was going on around you? Did you take risk and have courage to invest your life into it? Everything I see in the teachings of Christ were an encouragement to endure and persevere through trial and tribulation.
“The Devil has asked me permission to sift you like wheat, but I pray that your faith would endure.”
Awesome!
I would recommend a good book to you called “fair sunshine” It is a collective of short biographies about the Scottish Covenanters. They are the foundation that our Constitution and Independence sits upon. They signed in blood and laid down their lives for us. Just like Paul, my studies have led me to the understanding that there is a greater release of grace and anointing to those who stand strong in their faith during times of severe persecution. The greater the pressure of the enemy the greater the grace that is given to endure. “The joy of the Lord is my strength.” Amen my brother “be strong and of great courage.”
this is really interesting, thanks for sharing. I've been reading about the Geneva Bible, and looks like this will fit right in.
Thank you.
I think it makes some Christians complacent in a way that there is no hope no matter how much you do. When you just die because of these evil spawns rather than doing something to save
Reminds me of the excellent Martin Luther saying, "Even if I knew the world was ending tomorrow, I would plant a tree today." Think what you want of Martin Luther, but that's gold!
You and me. The ministry of Jesus Christ is to bing us all to that place where we are faithful and wise servants of truth. We come to the point that we master it, the kingdom of heaven is within us.
So now your saying the Sins of the unbelievers and the Sodomites of Society is because of our Christaian apathy? Dude. Christians are Salt and Light and we are put here in such a time to speak truth and be light to those in darkness. And yes Jesus does take care of it! Try reading Revelation.
Oh, jesus does indeed take care of His kingdom, I love Revelation from that perspective, here is a great minister on the book. Please give him a read. There are 236 essays all on the book of Revelation. I consider it the Gold standard for interpretation. He loves Jesus Christ and the Revelation of our Lord.
https://www.godfire.net/eby/
Not once did I say that. I said don't let your theology make you ineffectual. You are correct, we are to be salt and light, but doctrine that makes us lose our saltiness and hides our light must be eliminated. We have the power to choose the doctrine we believe.
Or to transcend doctrine, and know and validate through direct experience, rather than theory!
That too, thank you.
Salt is to perserve the Gospel of Jesus. Light is to show man our good deeds so they Glorify God.
Sounds good. :)
"Don't let your end time theology ruin your faith to overcome this world"
There's only one person who has "overcome" this world: Yeshua.
The only way for us to be overcomers is to be found in the one who, indeed overcame: The God Man Christ Jesus.
He is the great Overcomer.
Rev 12:11 for one.......thats a Google search.
Some verse in Revelation says blessed are they that overcome......Jesus fully expects it of us.
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
