I used to love Costco. They had a great return policy, their employees were great, and they had good products. Now their employees suck, their return policy is declining and almost everything they sell is made in “Chy-na” or the PRC which is the same damn place! I can get my meat in bulk from a local farmer, toilet paper on sale at the local grocery store, and you’re not saving that much on your canned goods! Screw Costco!
Because only yesterday, I walked right into Costco (one that is located only a hop-skip-jump from their Issaquah headquarters) while I flashed my card and my smile at the entrance card-checker. And fully a third of my fellow shoppers were happily cuckmask free.
Now, I don’t doubt your report, as I was genuinely surprised to not get hassled at the door, but perhaps, because Costco is not completely suicidal, they’re not going full Nazi on this mask policy this go-‘round, or at least at this time.
Perhaps location specific... I too visited Costco yesterday and wasn't required to wear a muzzle, however I would have to say that at least 75% were muzzled (I live in an occupied blue state).
The employees got to only experience about a month without the masks and now they have to put them back on again. In my area when they got to free their face I saw only 1 employee still wearing a mask, and I saw so many huge smiles I was compelled to tell an employee congratulations for finally getting to have a free face and she was full of glee when she thanked me for that. I can only imagine how many of those employees have decided it's time to quit. I bet a bunch of them are. At my store at least. Also, they'll never get my business again. I'm currently filling my online cart from a local ranch where I can get some meat to fill my freezer. Screw costco. I only went there for the cheep prices on grassfed meats and cheese. I don't buy "normal" groceries anyway.
Costco locations will follow the face mask regulations of the applicable state and local jurisdictions. In communities where COVID-19 transmission is high or substantial, per current CDC guidance, Costco strongly recommends that all members and guests wear face masks inside our locations.

Best way to do it!
Even the apple juice Costco sells is made in China... I shit you not... saw some that had USA/China printed on each cap
As of today?

King County, WA here.
I know your pain.
Used to love Costco, now I'm never going back unless the issue a public apology for their horrible policies
Does costco have proof that Covid-19 is real? Does anybody?
Not in Florida, bitches

Meh. Membership shopping is gay.
Yeah I was there yesterday. They made all employees mask up. Didn't say anything to customers though.

Hey, I’m fine with “strongly recommended.”
It’s very easy to strongly ignore.
Ask what their policy is to prevent vaccine shedding.
Snap a picture of the breakroom when you walk by and post it online.
