I tell people all the time. Listen to the garbage coming out of universities, the West Coast, and upper East Coast. Some professor will write a paper, one of the coast states will change their practices, then it moves inward. A few years ago, some professor wrote how math was racist. Late last year, early this year, Oregon and California implemented their anti racist math training and VA banned advanced math until 11th grade.

I am now waiting to see how they implement the English language as racist and classical music as a sign of white supremacy. Both have been written about by professors.

Bring music education back. Music has shown to improve math skills. Very few Elementary schools offer music anymore.

More horseshit about how racist math is with zero facts to back it up. These people are completely insane. As a general statement, people with high IQ's understand math faster/easier than those of average IQ's, and lower IQ people struggle. Much of these differences can be overcome by studying hard. It has nothing to do with skin color, it's individual IQ and effort. IMO

Evidently these people never heard of Jaime Escalante or the movie based on him and his minority students, Stand and Deliver. They must have missed Hidden Figures too, where African Americans excelling in mathematics, computer science, and engineering was celebrated.

The reality is the true racism is being dressed up as caring. Claiming there are races who can’t grasp mathematics as it has been taught for a very long time is by definition racist. Makes you wonder if the real reason for this concept is to have an excuse to not provide a sound education in the area of math.

So they are getting rid of math. Parents don’t let them do this to your kids if it’s your school.
