In advance; I am in a vulnerable state and I am asking for sincere council, please?
After talking with my boss about not wearing masks, I saw a side to all this I didn't know of before and now I'm torn in my heart about what's the right thing to do. My job has a much more clear solution due to conversing with my boss but my dentist is far different and I'm just in this position where I'm willing to leave and find another one but I do question if that's truly the solution God wants me to pursue or if (like my job) it is merely my poor attitude and haughtiness that keep me from seeing the bigger picture that these businesses are just as frustrated as me in that these aren't rules they want to enforce either. Much the same I witnessed at my job. My boss is the only thing standing between a mandatory vax and weekly tests. Her compromise to get the state off her back (we are a local agency) was to enforce some kind of mask restrictions to get them to leave her be. But she much confessed there is a lot of pressure above to make her do otherwise. Translating my anger has been sorely misplaced and I've made the wrong enemy out of those I should be seeking to band together with and reach out to. The Holy Ghost revealed to me I am doing this all backwards. And I'm just grieved about where to go from here with the dentist. My conscience has been proded by the Holy Spirit and I question if my resolve was misplaced.
I don't know what I ought do. I made a post about not wearing my mask period but with recent events I am feeling I should delete it because in fact I'm torn as of right now given what i know about things. I guess I'm seeking encouragement on what to do. Things aren't as black and white as I first thought. Talking with my boss for an hour and a half made me see just how much she's spared us despite how much I hate these mask rules at my job. And in turn has changed how I see my dentist too.
Please bear with me frens. I'm seriously in a bind and I don't know what's right to do opposed to my original post:
I discovered that the only thing standing between a forced vax and me is in fact my boss. Whom I've recently spoke to about refusing to wear a mask. Only to find out she's not my enemy not my protector. That she even confessed she'd rather have made this an optional rule. But to keep the state from getting pushy she reached compromise. Granted there's a lot at stake so the more i think about it the more i feel sad for her position. In fact it's awakened compassion even for my dentist which I've been so vehement about not going over wearing a mask from the door to a chair. I would appreciate sound judgement from you all. Please help.
God bless you all in Jesus name with a good measure of the Holy Spirit. If I am found not worthy o f the words I spoke in my prior post; dear mods I will do you the favor and delete myself. For it is shame such a person as I should remain with such a positive post to only turn around a day later with more confusion. Amen.

Aye. Please don't delete the first post. I was so excited to see the follow-up, it'd be a shame to only chronicle half of your story.
Bqnita is wise. 😁
Thanks for your grace. God bless you in Jesus name with the Holy Spirit, Fren. Amen.
Sage advice! We are all human and the struggles we face are not yours alone. I agree that the ability to question and change your mind means you're actually thinking, not being a zombie and following the crowd. Relax, pray steadfastly & know that you are not alone in these struggles!
Thank you thank you thank you. God bless you in Jesus name with the Holy Spirit, fren. Amen
Thank you. God bless you in Jesus name, BONITA. Much with the Holy Ghost amen
Understanding another's position and having compassion and empathy for them broadens our perspective about a situation. That may alter your feelings and beliefs, which in turn may cause you to make a different choice than you might otherwise have made. However, whatever choice you make has to be a choice that's right for you. Each of us has our own issues to deal with, including your boss and your dentist, but you aren't responsible for them, their issues and their choices. If you make your choice based on your understanding of their situation and that choice actually goes against your grain, it won't go well. You may be able to make yourself do it, but you'll never feel totally comfortable with it, and ultimately you may resent your choice and the people associated with it.
TL/DR: Make the choice that's right for you, no matter what other people are dealing with.
That's a good point. The Holy Spirit of is teaching me individually. God bless you in Jesus name, sibling. Amen
This is an EXCELLENT post and I am right there with you. I have to see many doctors, and I've refused to wear a mask, capitulated when forced due to illness, and alternated between furious and sympathetic. You have the insight of a saint, and it's hard! I know, I know.
I think, reading what you wrote, you should directly state to the dentist that you understand their position but you will NOT be wearing a mask there under any circumstances. You're in a fortunate position that it's just a dentist, not something necessary for maintaining your life (✋) like an endocrinologist or other specialist. You must do this, because you HAVE the choice to see another dentist. It's an opportunity for you to make change.
I get exactly what you're saying. I've gone through this with 4 specialists AND my dentist, lol. Your compassion is beautiful, but we must fight when we can so that those who can not fight are protected.
It's tough work. I'll say a prayer for you! WWG1WGA
You are right. I need to find a way to fight in these regards. I found a good comprise with my boss despite the dentist being final on the matter. My boss will leave me be as long as I'm only unmasked away from people at work. If that requires me being singled out, so be it. God bless you in Jesus name, amen.
If you MUST see your dentist now, then what is the harm in wearing it in the door and removing it once you're in the chair. Is it your pride standing in the way? I'm sure there are other people who feel the same as you. If it is an emergency filling or root canal, I would go ahead and visit my dentist; if it is simply a cleaning(which I know is badly needed) it could Wait until the Lord steps in and heals our world. As long as you continue brushing and flossing; postponing a cleaning will not harm you as bad as a filling or root canal would. In my opinion, this is what I would do; but I'm not you. The Lord will help you decide. And there is no need in deleting yourself, you are only human and we've all been there. God bless you and have a great day. P.S. Sounds like you have a great boss.
20 years between cleanings here.
Could've gone worse is all I'm saying.
Good advice. And this is why I urge OP to fight now, when it's NOT an emergency. I've had to fight during emergencies with some of my doctors and the patient is at a huge disadvantage.
Yeah it isn't great at this time for us is it? God bless you with the Holy Spirit to keep fighting, sibling. In Jesus name, amen.
Thank you sis. God bless you in Jesus name with the Holy Ghost. You are right. It was pride.
Lol great thought if I truly hated my boss and dentist xD. That is grade A satire. God bless you with the Holy Ghost in Jesus name amen.
If the dentist mandates a mask, calmly and politely tell them they are participating in an unlawful mandate and that you will not. If they tell you they cannot serve you, inform them they are discriminating against you and willfully participating in segregation in only serving masked populations. This is a test. Dentists who now down to the mask mandates are being conditioned to accept the jab mandates too. This is the time to stand your ground. If everyone stands together, the mandates end. If we all make excuses for ourselves and for the ones imposing the mandates on us it goes on and on and on.
Indeed. I think what I've seen is that it doesn't end until you can get others to fight with you. I got a win with my boss. She's being wakened up by the Holy Spirit to this. Just in time to save us under her from a vax mandate. With patience I see her pulling back to telling people as it ought be. Free option to wear or not to wear a mask. God bless you in Jesus name, amen.
Communication is key. Discuss your concerns with your dentist. Find out how he personally feels about masks. Once you know his stance, then you can decide whether you need to find a new dentist or not. Also let him know where you stand, so that if you decide to find a new dentist, he will know why.
Thank you. God bless you in Jesus name with the Holy Spirit, amen.
When you feel like this try doing a breathing in and out ratio of 1:1.5. For example, in for 4 out for 6. Get a thin mask and be done with it. Sometimes you have to fake it. I got some thin fabric and made it into a mask I can’t even tell it is on. Don’t worry it will be over soon.
Thank you for your encouragement and grace of the Holy Spirit. God bless you in Jesus name, amen.
How does a dentist work on a mouth concealed by a mask?
We wear it then we take it off to be worked on. XD logic...
Fight the battles you can win. Don't waste energy on those you are bound to lose and which will only leave you depleted for the important ones.
A mask is just a nuisance. Ask the dentist why he is mandating masks. His answer will tell you everything you need to know. Ultimately, wearing a mask for a few minutes is a small thing. It is the larger context that matters.
Taking the jab, by contrast, is a permanent defilement of your body and a battlefield. If wearing a mask prevents a serious battle, then it seems like a reasonable tradeoff. But if anyone is requiring a mask because they are asleep and don't understand, then keep in mind that we don't want to be giving our money and resources to an enemy who is just going to turn that money over to the deep state. In that case, find a new dentist, no matter how hard that might be. And explain to your current dentist why you are forced to take your business elsewhere.
Even if every dentist requires masks, you still want to find one who is awake enough to keep your money out of the hands of the enemy. We are at war. We need to approach our business dealings with that mindset.
I really appreciate those words in the Holy Spirit. That is indeed how I've begun to feel. Some battles are not worth fighting but we have choices on who we give money to. God bless you in Jesus name amen.
And know that I Am God.
Mmm thank you in the Holy Spirit, sibling. God bless you in Jesus name amen.
Coming here for advice is the equivalent of talking to yourself in the mirror, you will only hear “yes-men” and confirmation bias. Real advice should be taken from outside the internet.
Respect. God bless you in the Holy Spirit too, in Jesus name amen.
In Jesus name, amen.
I refuse to wear a mask except in Heath services environments - feel they are just trying to do their job in a difficult situation and are not responsible for these ridiculous and worthless mask requirements- we live in times that require great discernment and flexibility and we should never let our pride cloud our ability for compassion and understanding , in my opinion.
You hit the nail on the head... it's pride that's hindered me. God forgive me and change me with Your Holy Ghost. And bless my fren here. In Jesus name amen.
Thank you for repeatedly posting this. My circumstances aren't such that I need the information, but others do and I appreciate your service to them.
Thank you and God bless you in Jesus name for your labour in the Holy Spirit. Amen
