Me and my wife are both in one. She was fired whilst being on their mandatory covid leave due to being in close contact with someone even after she had 3 negative tests and wasn't given a return to work order.

NEVER quit!! Let them fire you. My company said everyone vaxed by Sept 7th or your terminated. 1200 employee's ,400 unvaxed, some caved, some (like me) filled for a Religious exemption, but it still leaves roughly 280-300. HR yesterday was calling the unvaxed people trying to get them to resign instead of being fired so they will be "in good standing" and will get any personal time they accrued when they leave. Vast majority to them NOPE!! FIRE ME! Massive law suits incoming and they know it! HOLD STRONG AND DON'T QUIT!
Just found out yesterday that 180 employees just in our dept are leaving due to mandated jab. Some are retiring others just quitting by 9/30 instead of requesting an exemption or allowing their own termination. My response to my sup was, they may walk right into another mandate so it's best to stay and fight.
At least they know to take their personal time now, before they're fired.

Frankly, I'm surprised there haven't been any reports of people 'going postal' - arsons on businesses, killings of company presidents/Executive Directors/CEOs. When people are cut off from their incomes, desperation and anger boils up.
I work from home. I'm lucky. But I can see my lefty business demanding I get the jab. I'm going to say no for obvious reasons. I hope they don't push the issue, I don't want to be fired, I have a family to feed. I am lawyered up already tho.

You are one angry soul and I disagree with you. A good lawyer could definitely find discrimination (vax vs unvax privileges) and illegality due to breaking with HIPPA privacy laws, Nuremburg and Geneva codes. Not to mention the company is going to have to hire a bunch of people to take the place of the ones they fire and that means a lot of company money for hiring time and training time so the company will definitely be hurt and so it should.
