we need more hardcore vetting like this around here. lately ive seen a ton of posts getting updooted that are posting questionable and sometimes outright incorrect stuff. often things that take massive leaps of logic get cheered on as if gospel..

OK it turns out that Sean was not claiming to have graduated from Oxford, England. He was explaining which town in Ohio he was from, Oxford Ohio.
That town is the homeplace of Miami University of Ohio which is not located in Florida.
This is why I love this board. Having migrated from Reddit and Voat LOL, this board, the mods and the real contributors are the best.
I agree with you except for calling this hardcore vetting. It’s a simple search and some clicks. We should all be doing this as a matter of course.
