Don't care... Joe's not in charge of anything, so it's irrelevant what he does or doesn't do. Find out who is pulling his strings (or who's hand is up his sock puppet ass) and that's who we really need to look at.

Hitler slept through the event, and hence, Von Rundstedt was incapable of getting the Panzer Reserves under command.

This way, the allies could establish a perfect beachhead to move in-land.

The Battle of Normandy followed which was a tight win.
