Do the people who rushed to get the COVID shot have buyer's remorse?

My coworker is very liberal. Not in a way that she has strong liberal views but in a way that she’s dumb and just follows what CNN and celebs tell her to believe. She got the vaccine months ago and shortly after her mother got the same vaccine. Her mother experienced terrible side effects (she did not share the details with me) and never went back for the second dose as far as I know. My coworker admitted the other day that she regrets getting it herself and feels like she made a mistake. Pretty surprising since everything she says is usually stupid.
Too soon old, too late wise....
May God shelter her in his loving arms....
So she feels like a Piece (not whole), instead of a Niece?

FTA: Thus, the decision to take a COVID vaccine early on was, at best, based on the word of the experts or, at worse, the emotion of fear.
From what I've seen, the decision was consistently driven by fear and rationalized as a valid choice because of the 'experts' (expert liars).
"Fear is the foundation of most governments."
John Adams
From Kill Decision by Daniel Suarez. (Fiction but I like the way Oden, a bad ass special ops dude puts it.
Behind every law is the implicit threat of force, and behind ever vote, is the implicit threat of rebellion. That's the bargain that holds a free society together, and no society with a large power imbalance remains free for long.
Democracy only arose when the ability to deploy force was decentralized.
If you go back to the middle ages, the state of the art weapon's system was the armored knight, he cost a fortune to train, feed, and equip, but a mounted armored knight could overpower almost any number of peasants on a battlefield. The distribution of political power in mid-evil society reflected this. Authority was vested in a tiny minority, and the people had no choice but to obey.
Then with the advent of gunpowder, that all changed. Suddenly you didn't need a highly trained specialist warrior to win on the battlefield. All you needed was a warm body who could fire a gun. Anything they could aim at, the could kill, and from that point the edge in warfare went not to highly trained warriors, but to the side that could field the most people, at which point we saw the rise of the nation state, and nationalism as a concept, as a logistical requirement for fielding and ever larger conscripted army, but this changed the political dynamic. The nobles could no longer ignore the demands of their subjects. Those subjects now had to power to kill them, or to refuse to fight in their wars, so kings began to cede more power and authority to representative bodies of the people, like congress, parliaments and so on.
Excellent and concise historical analysis. Thanks for sharing!
Check you priv msgs.
MY Dad got double Pfizer back in March and died May 25th this year.
I am sorry for your loss.
These stories make me very angry, and when I am angry, I tend to do bad things....
Me too, especially when no one had to die. My father-n-law died two weeks after getting jab.
The ones I feel really sorry for are the youth who listen to their parents, got the jab and died.
I'm almost not sorry for the parents because any dumb ass that can't rationalize that a youth with a 99.998 survival rate should not chance a vaccine whose risk is unknown, almost does not deserve sympathy.
There was no stopping him from getting it. I tried VERY hard to convince him. His words to me were, "I'm not like you Scottie, I trust the government."
Trust is a two edged sword....
My condolences fren.
Thanks fren ;,) family didnt wanna pcr test his organs post death cuz afraid of losing insurance money. Feels scummy cuz he put me as his 100% beneficiary :( I wonder how many people are accepting fraudulent death certificates or incorrect causes of death just to avoid getting that insurance declined since the jab is "voluntary"
Again, sorry you had to go through this.
Are you telling me that Insurance would not pay out if cause of death was documented as Covid? If so, is that because he voluntary chose to get the vaccine.
I'm sorry to read about your Dad, may I ask what he died from? Was it CV related? God bless.
Soon their loved one will probably have Die'ers remorse when they attend their funerals.
Me too. I'll go from having three brothers and a sister, that love each other, to being an orphan.
Howls, I see what you did there Duck..Touche...
I could not resist. You know how it is.
Sighs, so well I do...
Not so far, no.
Me neither, but I'll let y'all know if that changes.
Two daughters got it, both while not out right admitting regret, are upset about the side effects, still able to get Covid and not wanting to mask cause the got it. Obvious they regret but don’t want to admit they made a mistake.
A mistake is the one thing no one will ever try to take away from you....Howls...
