I'm always wary of someone telling me what I need to do to be a good Christian.
Its almost always stupid liberals assuming what I should be, whilst never opening the bible to read a chapter in their lives.
and when I hear someone telling me what it is to be a good Christian, it is usually at a church I purposefully attend, not some online shmuck. Also, I expect, even demand, that someone (ministers) telling me how to be a good Christian, there better be ample Biblical references, within Biblical context, and widely supported, aka, not, I found one spot in the Bible where it says this one thing for this one dude, therefore, everyone do life this way or that way.
I think it's all about building a better relationship with God and being the best person you can be in all ways. You're right, it's not one plan fits all.
100% about each person's relationship to God, what is man's chief end? To glorify God and to enjoy him forever. You should be the best person you can be, because God calls us to live lives of gratefulness, to love our neighbors, to love justice, and to hate evil, to love the brotherhood (that is, the saints, other Christians)
Yep. Run far away form those people. I have some in me extended family that have, thankfully, ostricized me and my kids due to this madness. And they go to church every weekend. Seems like some of me family won't inherit Paradise when that time comes. And I'm ok with that.
Luckily, we're not responsible for the final judgement.
He's on his third dose, it's "bringing him closer to God."
Yes, because he will die before his time.
Just think what the 10th booster shot will do!
100% of the time I hear "it's not Christian" or "you're not being a good Christian" it's from legalistic judgmental hypocrites who are dead spiritually that feel it's an effective club to beat people with.
