Yes. That's legalese for we're not going to require you to do that and we want to absolve ourselves of liability for not requiring you to do that at the request of our lawyers.
That's what I'm hoping too.
What laws? Ask them to which code they are referring.
Organize with co-workers and fight the bs.
Id ask HR for clarification on what Federal and State laws they are using as a guide.
Then you will have a better idea if tbis means mandate is coming or not.
Will also put them on notice that people are not falling for it if tbey are hinting at mandates being legally enforcable.
Does your company start with an M. Bc we had a meeting about that this morning too lol
Do they mean "state" law? Some of the state health departments have emergency powers to mandate vaccines for pandemics. (Like New York!)
