I miss him
As a government employee (and is my daughter for a different agency) I can tell you most continue to telework. So that could be the reason.
Seriously? Why is anyone still working from home at this point? I teach at a university and was back on campus in January.
DC capital of Covid Fear. They let everyone work from home.
Less casualties when the "Biblical Day"comes.
Many people love working from home.
No commuting time. Save gas. Avoid people. Cheap home made meals. For some, at home with family. Etc.
Oh I know it, as an introvert I prefer it too, but what I meant is that aside from the government workers pretty much all companies have required a return to work to at least some degree.
Maybe. I guess I'm in more of a bubble. Most of my friends and family are still working from home.
Wait! Wait! Denying funding to corruption? (Gasp!) That sounds like something Donald Trump would do!
I read the reason all the buildings are closed is that everyone is working from home due to the virus. That's certainly a convenient excuse, but all those people must still be getting paid. Otherwise, one would think there'd be riots in DC by all the unpaid government workers.
I know this is going to sound crazy, but I've had this rattling around in the back of my head for awhile now. Remember this quote?
"I'm gonna pull the whole thing down. I'm gonna bring the whole f-ing diseased, corrupt temple down on your head. It's gonna be Biblical."
is it possible, what with all of the empty buildings in DC, that this is exactly what's going to happen???
Richard Citizen is one of the worst commentaries around. He never gets up close to anything, he always take pictures from across the street, and there are only a few minutes long. He’s on the ground, in Washington DC, and he can get a ride up to those buildings but he never does. Why is that. Do your job Richard citizen. I don’t have TickTock, Twitter, or any of that stuff or I would tell him myself
Generally,I don't like to bag on pedes for the work they do - it takes all kinds, etc. And RCJ doesn't feel of Paytriot Larper like a LOT of folks (who I also don bag on, generally)...
But ABSOLUTELY THIS!!! +1
DC is a ghost town. Wake TFU!
Working from home is the story.
Does the last line seem out of place?
I also did a double-take. But I assume he's referring to all the small, private coffee shops, newstands, hot dog vendors that normally cater to the large population of govt workers.
Referring to DC in general.
