IIRC, the Z-pack was for those that may have developed bacterial pneumonia as a result of the virus. If you took the zinc early on, you more than likely avoided the need for the zithromax.

HCQ needs zinc to work, because that conmbination suppresses a viral replication enzyme in infected cells.
But ivermectin does not need zinc to work. It might help because ivermectin may also have ionophore properties, but ivermectin's main method of action against the 'rona / vax does not require zinc (I think)

He said he took a vitamin drip and a NAD drip and z-pack. I don't remember if he specified which vitamins other than NAD.
It'd be pretty safe to assume that Rogan regularly takes vitamins and minerals as regular dietary supplements

Speaking from personal experience, that's not true in every case.
I had what I'm 99.9999% sure was covid in January 2020. I took a version of hcq without zinc or a z-pack and I was like new in 24 hours.

HCQ is a zinc ionophore that opens a pathway into the cell for zinc but I dont believe thats how the ivermectin works. I am not a doctor though.
