I'd bet the real reason they aren't going to homeless hellhole Austin has nothing to do with Texas law. It reads like they planned to later post it for virtue signalling likes. The only thing missing is "...and then everyone clapped...".

I lived in LA, from the midwest, and just moved to Texas for this EXACT reason. LA is a just a cesspool of disgustingness.
