The horse paste conclusion is ignorant regarding the contents of animal medicine and human medicine. In some cases they are identical and this is one of those cases. So incredibly easy to research.
I’m not saying you’re an ignorant person, clearly you are not. Great research! But regarding animal versus human medication you have a lot of research ahead of you.
Once you get to know a veterinarian and find out how much people overpay for the exact same product you will realize how much bullshit goes on with the cost of products like these.
Horse paste is safe and cheap. The human pills are just safe.
ANYTHING ELSE in the paste is going to be safe for humans. Horses are actually, much, much, much more vulnerable to toxins than humans are. For example alochol and avacados will kill them even in small amounts.
Actually believe it or not humans are THE most generally poison-resistant animal on the planet. Anything that exceeds humans specifically evolved its immunity to a specific poison, and will still die to some other poison humans casually shrug off like its nothing. Its why half the food you eat can kill your dog for example.
For example, onion, grapes, avocados, green peppers, and chocolate are all known killers of other mammals, and yet look at how much we enjoy them, even call them healthy.
Thus any other ingredients in the paste are going to be human-safe.
My dogs take medicines I take everyday for the same reasons. Some over the counter and some by prescription from the same pharmacy I get mine from or from vets office, but same meds all the same. I took the paste and it does work. I have a lingering cough but that’s it. So I still take it every 2 days hoping it will help me kick this cough out. The best way to take it I found is in some yogurt. My husband decided not to take it and still got better pretty quickly but he noticed it’s taking him longer to get back to working out, his cardio is normally great, but since getting sick his cardio sucks. Our son said that’s what happened to him also, took a week or two to get his cardio back to where it was. So even though you think it didn’t affect your lungs it still does in a way.

I wish humans could make vitamin C though, we forgot how to do that.
We can grow oranges, limes, peppers, etc .... same thing :)
Let your medicine be your food, and your food be your medicine ... a very wise old dude said once.
what ever do you mean?
Its easy, eat actual citrus. Vitamins in food naturally occurring >>>>>> any supplement.
Most animals make vitamin C in their own bodies, AFAIK
That's vitamin D and maybe some vitamin A
