Anyone that earns the title of Marine after boot camp is a Marine for life. Once you leave the Corps, even though you're no longer active duty, you're still a Marine. This is just what I was taught as a Marine. There is no such thing as an ex-Marine, only former Marines.
The girlfriend said he suffers ptsd. Wonder if that is an assumption on her part
I mean he may have told her that. Perhaps because he was dealing with symptoms of a mental illness and he just assumed it was related to PTSD
He could also have been legitimately diagnosed and still had firearms. Lord knows there’s enough ways to get them illegally if your determined to.
She also stated he was going batshit crazy and acting increasingly erratic. So it could be an assumption on her part to explain him going completely nuts.
Riley's girlfriend told authorities Riley had been slowly unraveling for weeks and repeatedly told her that he could communicate directly with God.
Investigators said preliminary evidence shows 40-year-old Justice Gleason just happened to be an unlucky stranger out mowing his lawn Saturday night when Riley drove by his home
Randomly, a lieutenant far in the distance heard popping noises and immediately put the agency on active-shooter mode, bringing all state and local law enforcement in the area to the scene
Riley, who had no criminal history, also told authorities he was on methamphetamines. His vehicle had also been stocked with supplies for a gunfight, authorities said, including bleeding control kits.
Guy has been slowly going crazy for months and starts believing he can talk with God. Victims are seemingly random. A Lieutenant is in perfect position to hear gunfire and put out an alert. Guy executes 4 people including an infant. Gets shot once. Decides he wants to surrender. Tells Police he’s tripping on meth. Decides to fight Police again at the hospital.
His truck is stocked with supplies....The same truck that according to the article was on fire when the cops showed up.
Nothing about this makes sense. But then again the stories involving the nutcases rarely do. Only question is. Was he legitimately crazy? Or did someone help him along?
The other thing that stands out is the Girlfriend knew he was rapidly unraveling by her own words. Yet said nothing and told no one. Because he apparently wasn’t previously violent. So she assumed despite his continuously degrading mental state and increasingly erratic behavior. That he would remain that way.
I dealt with a veteran marine once who was 26 yo. He was totally out of his mind and fought me. It was no picnic. Merth psychosis and a really fucking tragic story of his combat time.
Have you heard of EMDR and/or Dr. McMakin’s frequency specific microcurrent machine? The former is the traditional treatment for PTSD, the latter is “off label,” but has created some profound relief in patients according to her case studies. If you have any physical injuries, FSM is approved to treat chronic pain, so you may be able to get some insurance coverage for it.
FSM can work wonders with few side effects, but you definitely need to find someone near you trained in it when starting treatment.
So sorry you were prescribed something that only exacerbated your problems. Will be praying for your healing, fren.
Lol smh.
Good catch
sniper maybe?
I'm also curious as to WTF a "former" marine is. Dishonorable discharge?

Still a marine, yeah. Which is why the term former Marine confuses me
who sold him the meth tho? the FBI has admitted to facilitating 15 crimes per day to "catch larger crimes", I'll bet they had something to do with it
Could you provide a source for that 15 crimes per day claim? I've never heard this before and would like to add it to my catalogs.
https://search.brave.com/search?q=fbi+15+crimes+a+day&source=web lots of stories, dont know the original source but i'm sure its there somewhere

I’ve always wondered why the media NEVER reports what medications these shooters are on.
Correct!
That was an enjoyable bit of fiction.
Damn, that reads like a short novel. I've not seen a write up like that before.
The girlfriend said he suffers ptsd. Wonder if that is an assumption on her part, because if it was diagnosed he would not legally be allowed guns.
Yeah, this feels weird all around.

How is a combat marine termed “ not previously violent “??
This is the reason I refuse to take ADHD medication.
I don't blame you. Here's what they prescribed me for PTSD/high blood pressure without even checking my blood pressure:

Is AOC ok?
This is not good.
