I never cease to be impressed with how the bulk of the medical community has been on the wrong side of history at all of these critical times.
Hell they locked Semmelweis in a looney bin for having the audacity to suggest doctors wash their hands after dissecting corpses before shoving their fingers in laboring women’s vaginas.
I saw a little bit of that Frontline? show about mental hospitals; pretty chilling! Giving feisty women lobotomies, so they would be nice, calm, obedient wives, was one of the most ridiculous/horrible things I have ever heard of!
Most medical personnel do not understand the actions they take when heeling someone. All they know is the recipe given to them in schools. If given a bad medical procedure to do that kills there patients they will keep doing it becouse they cant think for themselves and that is how they were taught to do it.
Exactly! Medical schools are trade schools, nothing more, nothing less, except the price of mistakes may be someone's life (although a bad welder could kill someone too :) )
