We are ready to get started (for our horses, of course!) So much information has been posted already but search function doesn’t work!
Can you all give us some guidance?
Edit to add: We do have horses and are familiar with Ivermectine. Just looking for guidance on dosage and frequency of use in humans.
Multiplying weight by 1.5 seems to be the consensus (but have seen that’s not necessary?).
This site has the correct dosing information: https://covid19criticalcare.com/covid-19-protocols/i-mask-plus-protocol/ It ranges from 0.2mg/kg of body weight for chronic prevention to 0.4mg/kg of body weight for post-exposure prevention, to 0.4 to 0.6 mg/kg for early treatment. Page 2 of the handout has a dosage chart by body weight for the 0.2mg/kg dose. For Durvet 1.87% ivermectin, a 6.08g tube contains 6.08g*1.87/100 = 113mg of ivermectin. There are 25 notches on the applicator so each notch =113mg/25 = 4.5mg/notch. For the 0.2mg/kg dose, this works out to about one notch per 50 lbs of body weight, which is the dosage marked for horses on the applicator. Multiply by 2 or 3 to get to the post-exposure or early treatment doses.
I haven't checked your math, but, thanks for doing it so eloquently!
I would bet that it is correct.
utube sorry shows how to guage amount

This is excellent. Thank you.
Here is what I have consolidated so far, (unfinished - needs work):
START
one dose on day one and one on day 3, than once a week for two weeks
One anon dose is 1.5 times the horse dose.
e.g. if you weigh 100 lbs the equivalent anon dose is based on 150 lbs
Prophylactic - once dose every two weeks
You need to take Ivermectin w/ food
You adjust the horse dose to your weight. The plunger on the tube is marked. Just set the ring to your weight. You don't need 1.5X the horse dose.
If you are using the Ivermectin Injectible for cattle the dose is 1cc to every 110 pounds of body weight.
If you have active covid it is one dose per day for four to five days.
If you are taking it as a preventative it is one dose on day one, one dose on day two, and once every ten days to two weeks after that. I am taking the horse paste version for other reasons and I have set up a schedule of once every twelve days.
I have been using the ivermectin on my animals for years with no problems. The human dose of the injectible is very close to the dosage for dogs of .1cc to every ten pounds of body weight. I give theirs twice a month during warm months, and once a month during cold months for heartworms.
Be careful what you're saying here. This is confusing. Make sure ppl understand a full tube of Durvet is for a 1250 lb horse. So a person should take a dose corresponding to what percentage their weight is of 1250. That is, if they weigh 250 lbs, then 1/5 of a tube. You seem to be saying they should calculate this after multiplying their weight x 1.5? So a 250-lb person should measure a dose as if they weighed 375 lbs? That is too confusing, if that's what you're saying. You need to clarify.
Every other guidance I've seen says figure the dose based on your actual weight.
As stated, "unfinished - needs work", so I appreciate the discussion. Dosing is clearly stated in the packages I have purchased. I have heard recently on this board to use 1.5 for the anon metabolism. Needs confirmation.
most of what i am seeing and doing myself is for prevent
one notch is 50lbs. I weigh 150lbs so i move the stopper to the 4th notch and squeeze out from there
i am going to do this 2x a week every 2 weeks so a total of 4 doses / month
i started first dose today
Hey Fren! My search function stopped working in Safari but it still works in Firefox if I need to search something out.
please keep us updated fren and good luck
Someone suggested vanilla yogurt to me. It actually kinda hid the taste. More than the peanut butter that I started with.
Just go here and contact AFLD

They'll get you what you need so you won't have to guess on the correct dosage.
Also, if you have trouble finding it thru their network, look for a compounding pharmacy. They'll have the raw materials, or can get them and make the stuff for you.
Turn off your television. Stop living in fear. If you get sick treat it like you would a common cold or flu. That’s your guidance.
Not a bit afraid of Rona. We’re doing it for other reasons. Oh, and I don’t watch TV.
But thanks for your concern.
I definitely wasn’t afraid either. I didn’t want to miss work, so when I got a scratchy throat, I took it 2 days in a row and felt great on the 3rd day! My 20 year old son was feeling a little worse, he ended up taking just one dose. He hated the taste, so I never got him to take another. He was sick for about 4 days. He didn’t have to work, so didn’t mind using his immune system to fight it. He is Fine now! My 14 year old daughter took 2 doses over the weekend. She was back to school today. We never tested for the chyna virus flu, but my sons 2 friends both tested positive, so we figured that’s what it was. I just don’t understand why people test for it.... what does knowing do? So what? If you are sick, you are sick.
i got some of the 1.87 paste and took my first preventative dose today
put it on the last piece of my po-boy and and washed down with H2O
will repeat 2x per week every 2 weeks
I will look at math and try to figure out again.
Update: we multiplied weight by 1.5. Ate with a cracker topped with peanut butter and the paste. Will try another way next time. Not terrible tasting, but tasting it and knowing what it was made it a little difficult. Definitely gagged a bit after it got stuck to the roof of my mouth… but I got it down.
We’re planning on the following schedule: day 1, day 3, once a week, once every 2 weeks and then once a month. Open to modifying if people suggest it.
The main objective is treating chronic fatigue syndrome (not me). And curious about some of the effects on other minor things. Will try to update.
You say: So much information has been posted already but search function doesn’t work!
Tip for searching:
Open browser window, in search window, or URL address space type:
site:greatawakening.win dosage (This example would search all greatawakening.win for post title, or comment that includes the word "dosage"
I think you can do boolean search too! For example: site:greatawakening.win Ivermectin AND Dosage
