All water has flavor. You can't get flavorless water. Different water has different flavors. Different minerals flavor the water differently. Spring water has a different mouth feel and flavor than freshwater.
In fact, some of the best water for you has a lot of positive effects. Unfortunately, it tends to come from your sink which is tainted with lead, chlorine, fluoride, etc.. And even the best (consumer) filters cannot filter out absolutely 100% of it.
So SO thankful we have our own well. Ya, some pipes probably need to be replaced, but a little extra iron in the water canβt hurt too much? And it tastes SWEET!
The PUR filters I have, filter out the junk and the water passes through a mineral core to give the delightful taste when cold. I sure am glad I stocked up on spare filters from thrifts 10 cents on the dollar..
The fact that your water has any is a warning signal.

To me no water has flavor, and all water is flavorless water.
