I have lousy Cablevision internet, and it cuts out for a bout 5 minutes every half hour or so. I believe they are doing a rolling "blackout" of their internet because they don't have the band width to keep all subscribers online at all times.
Thanks for that tip! I don't know if it is equipment related or not, but perhaps the FCC laws require continuous service, so they'll have to fix it. I have dealt with Cablevision several times, and based on that, their customer service makes the DMV seem like the Ritz Carlton by comparison. :)

Spectrum is my ISP and they've had sporadic outages lately. My suspicious mind makes me wonder if they're preparing for something.

The 5G towers put out the kill signal but that is just a hypothetical.
