I work at a VA. We have 9 covid patients but only 10 beds for covid patients. Wtf.
We are understaffed at the main hospital and 6 other small locations by nearly 1000. You read that right.... 1000 people. Not all medical, but you need more than just medical for a hospital to function. Only 15% of the hospital system is unvaxxed, but If they leave? I don't see how it functions.
Thanks, Pede....and thanks for taking care of our Veterans!
How does a doctor determine that a patient has covid?
If they have a symptom of any illness ever, it's COVID.
If they have diarrhea? COVID. If they stubbed their toe? COVID. Broken bone? You guessed it; COVID reduced bone density.
You missed the most important step one. Are you vaccinated? Yes -> Covid, otherwise no.
My daughter works at a hospital and i agree understaffing is the biggest problem and people going out because they themselves or someone in their family test positive for Covid
