After all the shit that's happened in the past year and seeing how doctors just regurgitate what administrative staff and their attorneys tell them, I'm through with corporate medicine. I want to find a doctor isn't a part of some massive hospital network, that is still independent and can still perform services like a real doctor should be able to!
Of course that in itself I know is a challenge considering all the buyouts, more government bureaucratic redtape and retirements over the past couple decades and I fully realize much of the American public is in a bad spot these days.
But I'm sure there must be some out there - I'd just like to know how I can find them. Is there a website or organization I should check out? Or maybe some sort of professional qualifications to specifically look for?
You can find a Naturopath who is not also an M.D., or a Naturopathic Medical Doctor (N.M.D.)
Also look up:
Orthomolecular Medicine
Functional Medicine
Osteopathic Medicine
Many are not aware the seismic impact of Obamacare. Medical Groups being absorbed into Medical Systems is one of the major outcomes.
"...Obamacare. Medical Groups being absorbed into Medical Systems..."
...and that's no accident.
Functional medical doctor, this will be the most skilled independent doctor with holistic training. They work with naturopaths and other holistic experts. They treat the root cause, not the symptom, and treat the whole body as one system, rather than each part of the body completely compartmentalized. Which is how proper medicine should work. Our bodies are one complete system, when something goes wrong in one place, it can effect other areas too, you must treat the root to cure all the ailments.
You want to look up Homeopaths and Naturopaths.
Believe it or not go to a Chiro.
MDs, Psychiatrists, and Crack Dealers don’t want to help you.
Chiros want to help you not come back.
Depends mostly on what you what help with.
Is there a specific health item you need help with?
Psycho why? Any idea or just

Health insurance is such a pain in the ass.
I dream of just being able to sift through people and pay.
Honestly I feel like it will save money in the long run.
Having to sort through all of this is incredibly frustrating ( like finding the new doctor )
I’ve been trying to get treatment for my daughter and it’s just - insane. They want me to do 15 grand in tests that won’t change anything. Extortion.
Your conundrum is similar to mine. Many years ago, I observed chiropractors and dentists always sent reminders via mail/email, or left a message on the telephone that I was 'due' for a check-up. I noted, medical doctors never did this. I'm in my 70s and for the last 40 years I don't have a family doctor. It has been a struggle for me to find a doctor I can trust. Instead, I felt like I was treated like a factory part. The doctor I'd see was the one who was visiting, instead of the one I set my appointment for, or it was always some damn stranger I didn't trust. I do not trust strangers. To have a medical doctor examine me or worse surgery, is horrifying. There is no control over what idiot one ends up with. Not all doctors are the same. Most doctors are smug little idiots that need to be sent back to boarding school. After 40 years, I have a very good chiropractor, dentist, but and NO medical doctor. It may be the reason why I am still alive.
There is a great opportunity for physicians and nurses to start making home visits outside of the healthcare system. A parallel economy is the way to resist and to defund the totalitarian fascism we are now seeing. IMHO, when healthcare insurance (Aetna, Cigna, BluCross, etc.) became big business it became a monopoly that now abuses that power. The medical profession lost their soul.
Door-to-door doctors is what is needed to end this BS at medical hospitals and clinics. Physical examinations can be easily done out of a doctor's bag. Heck, even using a paramedic truck for home visits would be a great idea for over worked and stressed out doctors. They can pursue the Hippocratic oath they have sworn to.
Functional Health Dr.
I have been lucky to have two doctors we use that are independent, with small practice. Can be inconvenient when you need x-rays as they send you somewhere to get them. One is mine and one for my kids. Neither have mask mandates and both said don't take the jab. It is a totally different experience compared to a corporate doctor. So much better, you feel like your talking to someone who truly cares about you and your health.
Beside the this ahead given: Search for "integrative medicine" doctor. Also look at AAPS.org. They are a lobby group, less proactive and in-the-media than frontline docs, but full of doctors that are determined to keep their independence from BS, many of whom (but not all) have ditched insurance entirely. Their web page and newsletter are chock full of real covid info. I recommended them to someone else awhile ago, and they told me they found a doctor they were happy with by checking their membership lists. Good luck.
We are working with a naturopath doctor for the first time and let me tell you, I have never had a doctor spend 2 hours in the first appointment literally going over every fine detail of not just medical history, but general life history, emotional well being, school/career... it was extensive and I loved it! I email her every 3 or 4 days with updates and she responds right away, in paragraphs, not 2 sentences. There is so much to cover when every aspect of your life is considered, 15-20 minutes is not adequate! It cost around $400 for that appointment but I'd estimate she has spend well over 12 hours with us, ncluding her 1st 2 hour appointment. Worth every penny! (My 17 year old daughter is her actual patient, hence the "us" business)
First, find a Delorain with a flux capacitor installed. Go back in time, pre-1910 should be pretty safe.
