If it really is the flu, it's the strangest flu I have ever had. I've never had a flu destroy my sense of smell and taste for over a month with no signs of congestion.
You know what's interesting is both my mom and stepdad who both live in AZ where it's a hot desert climate (Phoenix area) got a flu-like virus within the last 5 years (I believe), and as a result my mom lost her sense of smell and taste and is just now getting it back after all this time. It was likely SARS, or a variant. My stepdad said they got sick around the time a bunch of Korean tourists came through at the airport they were at. It was within a couple days of exposure to the group. My stepdad said his heart rate was all over the place during his period of sickness.
This whole COVID thing is not the flu. It's a genetically-modified version of the SARS virus that was released on purpose, likely during the military games of last year. Every single "conspiracy" surrounding this virus has either been shown to be factual, or has so much evidence pointing towards it that it's hard to believe otherwise. There are no "coincidences" here.
Agreed
My allergies, especially in the spring and early summer do this to me. Can't taste anything really until mid / late summer. I get mild sinus congestion, but most days I want to claw my eyes out ; especially if it's windy.
I've read recently antihistamines can help reduce / prevent covid, someone actually posted it here ; can't go hunting now, gotta get to work.
The smell thing is not new, Happened to my Step dad, he never did get his sense of smell back.
